It should please a lot of the nay sayers on this board that we have offered a lot of players with multiple (6-10) offers. Let's see if we can lock them up.

Wyoming must have a coach with Illinois ties because you see that school on a lot of Chicago area kids. Then I looked and they have a Mallory on their staff. That probably explains it.

Workout? Lol We're not a pro team. I do not believe the NCAA allows us to bring in a recruit for a workout (unless it's an organized camp/junior day).

I have asked this on a few boards I frequent... My neighbor was invited to come down for a workout by an SEC school, Kankakee area kid who is only a soph. First school to contact him

Well it's not an official workout but many times you'll see that QB's have thrown for a coach either at his high school or the college. I'm sure it's technically in compliance but may be skirting the edges.

Bunch of kids, classes of 2017 & 2018, from Detroit visiting both WMU and NIU this weekend along with some kids visiting NIU and UI and then going to Rising Stars event in Chicago.

NIU seems to be offering a lot more kids this year, including an Ohio State commit.

yeah this is very different from years past. usually Carey and has staff have been very particular with their offers, this year we are like Toledo offering everyone we see. interested to see how this works out
