Yet, y'all voted for a pro-abortion, pro-big government, socialist.

Though some of his statements bother me, I'm trying to be more 'understanding' and learn about him. I'd always thought of him as a silver spoon in mouth blowhard, but maybe there's some depth there.
That does call into question the abortion issue. How does she square that up?

I know it's corny and to some tiresome when we say repent and believe in the Lord but that's the truth. Don't wait until the last minute. My brother never wavered from his atheism and I doubt that he accepted the Lord when he had his heart attack. Knowing him, God was the last thing he was thinking of. Don't be like him, you'll have no one to blame but yourself.

The definition of fear. When you realize the world is being run by your high school classmates.

Fear isn't necessarily a bad thing. Fear can be a great motivator.

Thanks, but I've got my own soul. Praying for your soul is impossible, that's your job.
But, I can pray that one day you'll leave your unbelief and see the Light. That, I can do. Remember, once you're dead no number of prayers in your behalf can accomplish anything. That, is unbiblical.

Taking the religious part out of it, prayer is akin to meditation. It can result in better health for you.

Right now I fear failing (specifically providing the best life possible for my children) more than anything else. That doesn't mean that I believe that I WILL fail, it just means that the thought of it is terrifying so I make sure it doesn't happen.
