To be honest, I don't see why we're having this discussion right now. If we have 1-2 bad years after this year? Sure. But currently, we're 4 years into a coach and have a solid team coming in next year, 1 NCAA bid,1 NCAA win, 1 NIT bid, 1 CUSA tournament championship, and 1 CUSA conference championship.

If you had told this fanbase that you would be hiring a coach and in the next 4 years he would guaranteed have accomplished all of those things, chances are you would say to hire him.

I understand the disappointment, but we still had a good year.

The guy before million dollar man had four straight years of postseason play oh but he didnt win one ncaa game i forgot.

They were probably tired last night from taking the bus all the way to Utah. They'll be better next year.

I hang with the players all the time too. We ride our hoverboards to Five Points and listen to the latest rap groups like Vanilla Ice and Cool And The Gang. And we eat hamburger sandwiches and look at our smart telephones and text on these telephones to happening girls. And they tell me "hashtag-know-the-game. Dog." And I am down with that. Word to your mother.

Disappointing, yes, but not a waste by a long shot. Anything that helps increase interest in UAB athletics right now is a big plus. The ending kinda sucked but attendance was up and we won for the home folks all season. Student interest and participation was also noticeably improved.

UAB people are working as hard as they can to get the whole department turned around. I just want to see our basketball team work that hard all the time on the court too. If they do, we'll be back in the Dance next year.

You've made it clear that UAB losses are the only thing you got excited about this year.

We lost to an Auburn team in their "house" by one point at a time when its team was at its best - including beating UKY by a bigger margin - all season. BYU at the other end of this season was simply a better prepared team with players we had trouble matching up. We made a good run at them late, but couldn't keep the pressure on them to the end and fell back. UAB will be a better team next season and the seasons after that.

Fairly incredible that BYU only played seven guys, and three of them scored 70% of their points.

Tell me about it. Where was all our depth?

Seriously alot went wrong, and all i see is we cut the lead to four so were fine.

No, the goal is to win. Cutting the lead to four was not fine. Why would you think that.
