Three years into the Danny Kaspar regime and we have a team that just quits. That is not a good sign. The team is not playing well defensively lately and we have very little offensive talent to work with. The future does not look bright for Texas State basketball.

Oh I know...but the head coach did lose his mother a few hours before tipoff. It was good to see the team play so well with a heavy heart. We all knew going into today that our Women would win and your men would win, only question was how big of a blowout either game would be.

Chiefsfan, I've seen you mention several times that stAte only has 7 players at this point, but 8 show up in last night's box score. Granted, a couple of those didn't contribute much, but all 8 were in for at least 11 minutes. Serious question, are you saying that you only have 7 that are on scholarship? Or is it based on lack of production?

8th player is a walk-on. He's the only guard we can bring off the bench.

Texas State shocks the world! We beat UL 61-57! Well, at least the Sun Belt World is shocked. Great win and much needed. We finally get a win versus the Ragin Cajuns!

Well we are not ready for the top of the league. Lost by 14 at home to Little Rock and it really wasn't t that close.

ULM takes down UTA 64-61 on the road and is now alone in 2nd place.

We won! we actually won a close game!

If Texas State beats AState Thursday, we're probably out of the SBC Tourney. For our fans, that would be great news, we could get the basketball search started and end the misery
