Watched the game at Iron City. The 3s USM hit were unbelievable, though several were wide open. Glad we pulled this one out. It would be huge if we can win on Saturday.

Several? Most of them were wipe open. Even Haase said in the post game that USM had too much room taking those three's.

And LA Tech wins 73-63! We now have a two game lead over MTSU!

LaTech beat MT 73-63.

Good to get that separation from Midde. Now we just need to win the games were supposed to, which hasn't been easy.

It was frustrating to watch us play great D for 28 seconds only to give up an open 3 as the shot clock ran out.

LA Tech is incredibly tough at home. Going to have to play a solid game. Let's go get it.

For the entire game, USM was 16-38 from downtown and 12-28 from 2-point land. They made 5-6 free throws.

KenPom.com has Chris Cokley as the MVP, with 17 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block, and 1 steal.

Brown, Lee, and Norton all played 38 minutes. USM had three players over 43 minutes.

Good game tonight. Another USM/UAB classic. Just wish we could have gotten the W.

Agree. Early on I thought he was in over his head but he's got the team playing better here recently.

Whew! Glad we pulled out the W. I really like this team's poise and grit. Also glad to see Cokely returning to early season form these last couple of games.

Gonna be tough to have such a short turnaround, but we've been successful before in this scenario winning at Marshall (sans the double overtime).

Yes that was the most frustrating thing sitting there in the stands, time & time again we'd get them down to close to shot clock violation territory only to see the USM player drive & dish off to a wide open 3ptr
