Some interesting point spreads into today's games. NIU only 5 point underdogs at Ohio seems a little odd to me, but even odder is Toledo only being 1.5 dogs on the road @ Kent State.

Maddawg, do you think Akron is good now? 16-3ptrs last night in their win against CMU. Right know, Huskies are the worst team in the MAC! Time to save the season must win today! Cagey, Akron is how I want NIU to play. They have lots of offense, play decent defense and play lots of guys. It doesn't have to be offense or defense, it must be both and in the MAC offense wins championships with solid not great defense!

Even the gambling world is losing faith, i saw the line was even not too long ago. But i can't fault the gamblers, we haven't shown we can beat decent teams on the road.

Oh I thought just the opposite, I thought Ohio would be at least an 8 point favorite. What is confusing to me is that over the past several weeks the gambling world has been staying away from NIU, so that is why this relatively low point spread surprises me. Seems like a safe bet for Ohio.

Yeah Akron has really come on, I underestimated them, but that 20 point loss at Toledo is a hard thing to completely erase from memory. We probably saw the MAC championship game last night with the CMU/Akron game.

And I agree about the Ohio game today, it could be a season saver of sorts. A loss would almost lock up a bottom 5 seed for NIU.

A loss would mean the Huskies would finish anywhere from a 2-seed to a 11-seed. It would mean NIU is in danger of playing a first round away game. I am worried that the Huskies play of late has put Monty on the hot-seat, the program's future up in the air. They must get to 19-20 wins minimum. They have been 7-10 MAC the last two years, they must improve on that!
