Strange. They displayed on the first few posts, but now nothing. I am logged in.

Is it possible Giles is a preferred walk-on?

It's possible, but he committed so early (November) and, if memory serves, a "ring the bell" tweet was made. They only seem to do that with scholly commits. I thought that maybe the offer to Anderson was a reaction to a Giles change of heart, though many a recent Internet article state that he plans on w&m.

Most likely is some kids wait to fax their paperwork until they do the ceremonial signing in front of the school. I guess we'll see.

No. Last I saw he took an official to SIU. No announced commitment though. I think the Anderson commit closed the door for him here. I really liked him though.

Noah Giles has signed. Tweeted as last NLI. Looks like Matt McDermott will walk on.

MJ, you'd better get cracking on alphabetizing the placard pics and post them as one group. You know wanm65 will request this so no use in putting it off. Throw in a few emoji and maybe even "bump" your post for good measure.

Lol. I was thinking I'd have to order them down to the minute the Loi was received.

Since it's WM...maybe we can arrange it by HS GPA or number of AP credits?

Isaiah Laster probably on top with a 4.25 GPA.

RE: Signing Day 2016
I like the look of the db's we are bringing in. All are tall 6'1 and around 190lbs. Big, fast, and physical with range. Though I agree Laster could make for an impressive OLB. I think he may outweigh Arman Jones.

I also like that all of our DE's fit the 6'4 245lb cookie cutter. Good height and size.

RE: Signing Day 2016
Always difficult to assess a new signing class and we won't know how good it is for another year. But you have to like the athleticism, size, accomplishments, and backgrounds of this class..also the fact that some have families with football genes. We'll see them all in August.

RE: Signing Day 2016
Agree, it appears that this group is very athletic. Two years ago Dedmon, Dykes, Stephens and Caskins all played their first year. Some of that may have been because of talent (can't keep them off the field) or need (depth). Do you think any of these guys will come in ready to play?

I think a DL or OLB would have the best shot. Least likely would be a QB, RB, or OL. One of the WRs would have to be an early gem or possess insane redzone abilities to crack the line-up.
