It's not looking so good. If I can't then watch out for next week. I'm pretty loaded right now. 07-coffee3

Right now 5 of our participants have yet to submit an initial weight. 2 of those 5 actually haven't been on the board since the contest started, so they haven't received my PMs. The other 3 have but haven't weighed in. I'm going to give everyone until the end of the week to either contact me, but if I haven't heard from everyone by then, how does everyone feel about miko33 subbing in for one of the no-shows?

Of the 5 that haven't showed, 2 are from Division 1 and 3 are from Division 2, so I think he'd end up in division 2, but I would choose who he replaced randomly if necessary.

Also, I'm considering changing a rule for the "Forfeit Wins", since we may have some people who completely no show for the entire contest, the people that are going against them would know this ahead of time (except for this week). So people could treat that as a bye week (but also keep in mind cumulative weight loss will factor in for the playoffs).

But, what if we said that you could get a regular win if you lost a higher % than the average of the competitors in actual games that week? Does that sound fair to everyone? This would also make it more likely that people will try during those weeks they are playing no-shows.

I'll let everyone weigh-in (pun intended) below.

I have not heard from djnva, so miko33 will be replacing him in the competition. I do have miko33s initial weigh-in, so until I can get the schedule updated, just replace djnva with miko33.

I'm also going to add in the forfeit win rule (changes to actual win if you beat the average weight loss for completed matchups).

I'd already given up soda and I've cut back on a lot of excess sugar here and there that I didn't even realize I was consuming. Plus I cut back on what my wife calls "gas station food". Which is what it is at Speedway but those breakfast sandwiches are awesome especially the jalapeƱo sausage on the pancake. Killer. Throw in good ole Blizzard Jonas or whatever the hell they call it and it's been great for my snow plow business as well as constant exercise from shoveling and plowing and snow blowing. I sneaked and weighed myself today and was very surprised at what I saw! Big day tomo.

Geez! This game might save your life.

It's no joke. I'm 6'4" and starting weight was 340 but actually had already lost 3 pounds down to 337 at the beginning of this. I've let my weight get out of control over the last decade. Always saying I was going to drop weight and get back to where I need to be or at least close to it. I'm actually healthy in most areas. Cholesterol, blood pressure and all the other traditional checks are always perfect but obviously fatness won't cure itself unless I end up in the desert for a few months. LOL.

You have a shot. I'm your opponent. But after the results I'll tell you where you went wrong on your weigh in haha

Only 6 completed matches so far. Those not completed means one or both (usually just one) have not submitted their weights for today. C'mon everybody! See post 3 for the results!

I normally weigh myself with gym clothes on when I got home, I went right to the scale. A little disappointed, I pee'd, changed into my gym clothes and dropped 2 lbs.

I usually take a dump in the morn then weigh myself naked and just as it starts calculating I exhale. Gotta get every thing out of me.

I'm being consistent in what I am wearing for weigh ins. Suit pants and dress shirt...no shoes, jacket, or belt.

RE: CSNBBS Weight Loss League - Official Thread
So we did have a couple forfeits here, I'll get everything up to date tonight when I get home from work.

I did have one more change I want to make for the rules, that I'd like to run by everyone and get their opinion. I had one person who couldn't weigh in on Tuesday, and didn't think they'd be able to weigh in until the next Tuesday. Without a weight for two Tuesdays, they'd have to forfeit both matches (as they didn't have an ending weight for week 1, or a beginning weight for week 2).

My rule proposal would allow them to only have 1 forfeit loss. (for week 1), but for week 2, I'd take their 2 week weight loss, and divide it in half to adjust for the extended time. Is everyone ok with this?

I had a good first week. But first weeks tend to be a little easier. Hopefully I can keep it up.

You had a great week. I thought that I was doing well, but you beat me. I was worried about week 2, not sure that I can duplicate week 1.
