I hope not, that would likely mean that Thompson is in foul trouble.

RE: BG Game
Will EMU do to BG what Maryland did to OSU? (Maryland put up 100 on OSU).

Looking for a 10 - 20 point win today? I feel it.

My guess is there are around 500, 20 real students. For student athletes it's all but mandatory another 50.

Bad start. On both ends. Looks like we are still asleep.

Yea I thought the 2pm tip instead of noon would have helped that, guess not.

So much sloppiness. Poor effort on ball movement is hurting.

RE: BG Game
BG looks good. Moving the ball well. We look the opposite. Silly turnovers, poor defense, bad shots...this could turn into a rout pretty quickly if we don't pick it up.

I'm not sure there is a magic answer...

RE: BG Game
I love Thompson, but he's been terrible defensively today. Out of position so often. BG is getting whatever entry pass they want inside.

This is turning into a blow out. We'll see if these kids roll over and give up, or if they fight back. It starts on the defensive end.

RE: BG Game
Down 13 at half. Should be a lot worse. Hopefully a more motivated team comes out of the locker room for the second half.

I think Thompson if he picks up a very early foul (< 1 min.) he, rightfully, gets very, very tentative defensively.

Now, with only one foul he can play 100% in the 2nd half...

BTW, I'm not sure this game is over...

RE: BG Game
Somehow managed to stay within 13 in that ugly half. It's not over yet, but we're gonna need to come out a completely different team in the 2nd half. Hopefully BG stops banking in deep 3s too...

Some more quality minutes from Nobles and even Alvano minutes that offensive foul. Glad to see these guys not rotting away on the bench.

I hope Nobles becomes a regular part of the rotation. Defends well, and that length is a pain in the ass for opponents.

BTW, I need to show Nobles some love.

I believe he will develop slowly, but I think he can do it (over time).

He does have the length that Murphy loves. His offense will need to develop. Right now I don't see a real offensive game.

I do love all of the long players we'll have next year in the front court... Very deep.

As I posted before Jones is a sitout and could be another Strickland-type player, a walk-on transfer who can get minutes...

RE: BG Game
And I hate to beat a dead horse, but 15 lbs. of mass could do a lot for his game. Even though we've got LWH and Madray stepping in next year, Nobles might become a substantial next year.
