Well I guess if service is going to be so sorry, they might as well be closed. "Eat/drink before you go folks" looks to be the rule now

I agree, when the students ran the concessions, they were much more efficient. At the very least, they could count change without a calculator.

Handling coins at a concession stand strikes me as especially asinine.

Looks like this has been changed. Tonight popcorn was in a box.

The concession stands at my son's youth league football game are way better than the ones at bartow arena.

I appreciate the announcement that there are 4 concession stands open in these areas for games. Especially the condescending tone at the end where they said that you can walk around the arena to find one with a shorter line.

I don't think it's the tone as in the inflection in Derek Scudder's voice, but the tone in that instead of fixing the concessions they are just telling people to walk over to the next concession stand if the one you're at sucks. And the first time he said it, it was very condescending wording. And obviously he was reading a script, I'm sure even everyone here understands Derek Scudder isn't in charge of Bartow concession marketing.

The idea that we are offering the solution to concession problems as "walk around the arena" until you find a better one is absolutely ridiculous. No one pays good money for tickets to waste their time walking around the arena during the game in hopes of finding amenities that should be readily available. As is par of the course, dozens of metro area high schools manage to pull this off without a hitch weekly, I don't know why we can't manage to crack the code.

I sit almost directly across the floor from Prez Ray. As the announcement to "walk to another stand if yours is busy" was being said, ol'Ray started nodding his head. The woman sitting next to him wasn't talking, so I can only assume he was in full agreement with the announcement.
