Great job, App. Always good news for the conference.

How far of a drive is that from Charlotte? (that's where most of your alums live right?)

RE: Apps bowl game allotment
This number conflicts with early allotment numbers from bowl commissioner of 11,000 local and Roughly 7000 per school idk

Keep in mind that there will be more tickets sent. They'll sell 9k through the school if app can find that many interested

6 hours-ish. Even better for our ATL alumns

3,000

USA got 4,800 last year and BGSU got 2k

After we sold our allotment last year we asked for more and they weren't that willing to give us more. Hopefully you can at least get the other 1.8K. A lot of our fans bought general admission tickets.

I would think App will sell more for Montgomery than we do for Mobile on 23rd.

If games were reversed we would sell more

no doubt. anyone that thinks otherwise wears yosef tighty whiteys (gonz). the reason we are in mobile is because we out pre-sold app on the go daddy. app did not want go daddy (or than fans didn't - we were 3x them on pre sales to go daddy) so they didnt get it. it is a shame because app has a better chance against bowling green than we do and they deserve the better bowl after our "showing" against gast. politics in fbs i suppose.

$25.00... Cheaper than our reg. season tickets of some $32.00 for season ticket holders, more for single game tickets.

You have to admire them. Less than a week from a humiliating blow out loss to Georgia State at home and still crowing with hubris.

We have more fans. 04-chairshot

That's a good price. I was afraid they'd be $50+.

Do they really sell over 10k to locals, that seems like a lot of comp business tickets.

First bowl game in history. 9-3 season...did anyone seriously think app wouldn't sell tickets pretty well?

If this were bowl #10 for them and a 6-6 season, I could see that argument, but this is a big moment in program history even if the bowl match ups our conferences get aren't stellar.

Right now GSU reported to have sold around 1,500 tickets, plus RJ and Ron Hunter have bought and will be giving away 100 tickets to students at the basketball game on Saturday.
