I root for all in the belt except when we play if we had a system like a certain G-5 then I hope you all rot in hell?. Other than that I hope you all do well even that team down south of us after we beat them this weekend to get to the cure bowl.

I don't care who you are...I'm rooting SBC.

YES! When it comes to bowl games and OOC games we need to win. Specially bowl games. It helps raise the profile of your team and conference. Sunbelt needs to win all of its bowl games.

I like to think Hudsbeth knew that coming into these bowl games. Teams need to treat it as there Super Bowl. I will definitely be rooting for sunbelf teams this bowl season.

Haha y'all need to give an allotment to UL's ticket office. We probably sell a couple of thousand. Then we can meet on Bourbon and Championship Square and kick it together.

Wonder if they are having a concert this year, last year they had Kool and the Gang. The great thing is that the game will be at 8 o clock at night, I know last year it was 10 in the morning we were basically rushing to get there.

I really am interested in going this year.

It will look great if the SBC can go 3-0 in Bowl games for 2015!

This, sweeping bowl season is the biggest way to jump up in conference rankings. You knock down the other conference's better teams. Beating a horrible MAC or CUSA or even Wake type P5 team during the reg season has little or way less impact.

Folks are right individual rooting interest are not going to impact the game but wanting a Sun Belt team to lose in a bowl game is dumb because it has benefits for you team as well, real and perception wise.

I too will always pull for conference mates against OOC competition in any sport...even GaSo! It is especially important that the Belt win as many G-5 matchups as possible both in the regular season and in the bowls. Perception is reality and the Belt can change a lot of perceptions with some G-5 curb stomps.

I can't believe that this is even a discussion.

We should all pull for each other in any non-conference action.

It's team pride first and conference pride second when you're playing "big boy football". I can't tell you how tired I am of hearing all about how the SEC is the greatest conference in the history of the world from Bama and Aubie fans down in these parts. I hear that almost as much as I hear "Rollll Tahd!" and "Woah damn Eagle" down here. Yes, UA fans root for AU and AU fans root of UA in ANY OOC matchup for the most part and MOST DEFINITELY in all bowl matchups (remember Johnny Football's famous "ROLLLL TIDE" tweet during the national championship a couple years ago?). Exact same thing applies in the two other examples you've cited.

Edited to add: I'll likely be at the GoDaddy Bowl yelling "GATA!!!" once I figure out how to properly yell it and I might even grab one of my old blue t-shirts and print out an iron-on Eagles logo for the occasion.

Those conferences aren't fighting being the worst conference in FBS either. If we all pull against our rivals, and if we get our wish...the rest of the country says, see the SBC went 0-3 or 0-4 in bowls... They are the worst conference in America...their champion lost to the 3rd place CUSA....etc

Whether you look at La Tech stuff or MAC schools comments it should fire up Belt schools. I would love to see the Belt administer some beat downs this bowl season

If many of you will kindly read the rest of my post, you will see that I plan to cheer for App but I make no promises as to what the heart feels as the game progresses. If you read further you will notice I pointed out that my comment was only made in response to an App fans comment that chooses to not cheer for Ga Southern. I did not point out it was made in jest, I apologize for the confusion.

To the comments regarding Auburn and Bama cheering for each other, you are mistaken. I'm sure there are isolated instances but not overall.

I'm so glad I have this much influence over the outcome of a game. This is valuable information and can certainly change my financial situation for the better. I'm grateful to all of you for pointing this out. It's going to be a great Christmas for the family. Heck, with this ability I may quit my job.

Do you pull for GS. If so why because obviously it does n't help. Yeah that's what I thought. Cheering for GS just shows solidarity with the rest of your Eagles. It's the same with the league your school is in. If it does better it will make your team look better. Put up a solid front with the rest of us. Be a part of something bigger than your fanship at GS and boost your school.
