UALR would never be our rival, no matter how many times we played them. Memphis will always be our main rival. App will never be a rival. Only Memphis and the Hogs, if they would ever play us.

A program you never play and haven't beaten in a game could never be considered a rival. Arkansas is no more a rival for State than LSU is a rival for UL in football. First you must play and second you must at least win enough games in the series for them to be considered a rival. You have two rivals in football, ULM and the Cajuns!

I would think recruiting the same area, would tend to make a rival.

While its true we compete with Arkansas a ton for recruits, the rivalry that exists is more at the institutional level than it is at the Athletic level. It's really the exact opposite of a rivalry in the term that we're used to it.

UPigg doesn't like playing Memphis anymore...

Memphis is:

10-11 in hoops.

They don't like competition.

I'm perfectly fine with it getting blanked, cause it's absolutely hysterical to me.

Also I love it when a flexbone team runs the rocket toss. It's my favorite play. Even more awesome is when it's used for play action.
