I really think Miami should go after the Memphis coach. Just from watching Memphis play, it reminded me of the Miami teams of old. I think that would be a good match.

Hey, if Tuberville needs a good reference, I'll be happy to provide it...for anyone other than UC.

To borrow from Groucho Marx, "Take my coach!"

I feel the same way about the coach at my "UC" alma mater.

Who wants to bolt their jobs to go to that University that is corrupt from top to bottom unless it has to be another corrupt coach? I am surprise that Miami football have not got the death penalties for their continue breaking NCAA rules.

What? Chuck Martin isn't going anywhere. 03-wink

I hope Tubs doesn't go (if I'm not mistaken, he has a huge buyout too), he just strikes me as a guy who's cashing his paycheck and golfing a lot instead of someone ambitious like Brian Kelly or Butch Jones. And that helps the real Miami if he continues that.

Strong would proabably be wise to leave Texas to go to Miami. I don't think he's in a good situation in Austin right now, it's a program with lofty expectations and too much pressure. Miami isn't what it used to be, so it'd probably be a good choice.

Tuberville's wife killed a man in by running a stop sign in Texas. That is the reason for the Cincinnati move.

Luckily you have no say in the matter.

Strong doesn't have an agent and I don't think he is cut that way.

Strong has to deal with the fact he will have a new AD and isn't lighting the world on fire while Texas programs that were doormat when the last coach started are now powerhouses stealing recruits and A&M is solid, fighting for respect in the toughest division in college football.

And Miami isn't? At least you have unlimited resources at Texas whereas at Miami you don't have the resources or engaged fanbase.

Expectations are a bit lower at Miami than Texas. But I'm not well informed about Texas. Strong has been mediocre in 2 years so far at Texas, time will tell.

You must be insane and i mean that in a nice way... Strong isnt going to leave UT for the Miami job, he will look incompetent, pretty sure he doesn't want that in his resume.

UT pays it's head coaches extremly well is why expectations are expected amost immediately, however, if the horns are patient enough and give Strong two additional years with plenty breathing room I believe Strong can turn that team back around.

I'm not saying he will leave to Miami, however I think he would last longer at Miami than he will at Texas, just personal opinion.

He needs to finish this season and have a good year next year with how high expectations can be.

Tubs is Not the Coach Miami needs. They have the talent, just need the right direction to lead with.

I would be thrilled if Tubs went to Miami....thrilled.

Alas I don't see it happening. Miami wants a real coach who is trying to win, not one retired on payroll waiting for the spirit horse to come take him across the lake.

I don't really like Miami as a program, but I wouldn't wish Tuberville on them. That's just mean.

Richt is the obvious fit for Miami. Which means it probably won't happen.

I agree, I think Richt would be the best move for Miami. I'm not completely sold on Cristobal as a HC but he is a top notch recruiter.
