In college football, on out of bounds plays clock only stops until the ball is placed by the ref except in the last 2 minutes of each half.

And all because I'm not a blind homer. I started watching UH sports when Alvin Brooks and Kim Helton were coaching, I haven't exactly had a whole lot to cheer for over the years but I've hung in there and I'm tried and true.

I can be objective and subjective when appropriate. I don't know what's so hard to understand about that. If you're referring to my post about Herman in this thread, get over it, he (not my opinion) has made it known in public he's dissatisfied with the attendance and couldn't care less about the excuses associated with it (and the excuses are, on a sliding scale upward, valid).

Yeah but it never stopped at all.

GG SMU. Looks like a dangerous team if they can build up the defense.

SMU looked good. Not what I expected. Temple didn't just forget how to play D; SMU kept beating them. A little D and you guys are there.

Herman is not living in reality. If UH could produce 8k fans overnight to go from Rob capacity to the TDECU capacity they would.

SMU, you remind me of Duke in the early Cutcliff years. Your offense can hang with anyone in the country, once you get that defense figured out you will win a lot of ball games.

davis a senior next year, now experienced experienced under morris...4 of your you top 5 weapons are just freshmen (including a potential first team all conference wr)

if smu can put together a decent defense next year (the big question mark)...they are sleepers
they remind me of memphis 2 years ago...keep it respectable with everyone but lost

RE: Temple - SMU
Whew!! That was far too Big 12'esque for my liking!! SMU has legit talent on offense which caused our defense a lot of problems. Walker was absolutely awesome for us tonight. He made big play after big play while never making a mistake. The secondary needs some serious work if we want to win the next 3. It's been a weakness all year. Our guys are often in good position but they fail to make plays or interfere....

No idea how SMU is 1-7, but they've played some great teams this year. I was impressed with your team. Best of luck the rest of the year and moving forward.

Hard to believe SMU is 1-8 with that offense. I definitely see better coaching and better recruiting.

Regarding the pathetic attendance, win some, and they will come.

RE: Temple - SMU
If we start winning, can someone promise to stop scheduling us on Friday night? About as easy to draw as going Sunday morning against church. We need all the help we can get.

Oh, and I think Davis is still on the sideline, staring down a receiver...one receiver...wondering how he is always covered when the ball arrives. Makes the post game shower a bit awkward. Just staring...leering...gazing at that one receiver...all play, all day. Crap.
