As far as the game goes, App most keep Ark St qb in the pocket, if he gets outside of containment, he will have a lot of success. Personally, I think App have become so dependent on the running game, that the passing game has suffered, we only pass when absolutely necessary, and very little aggressive, down the field passing, Lamb has been taught, unless they are absolutely, wide open you don't throw he ball. Eventually, maybe this week, someone is going to shut down our running game, maybe Ark State, and I'm afraid we are going to have to win a game throwing the ball 25 to 30 times, not sure we can do it.
Should I call the wahmbulance for you? Jesus Christ. And as far as actual game observations go I'm not sure we're watching the same games. Most of our shots are down field passes off a play action, and I've seen Taylor throw more than one deep ball into double coverage, so I don't know where you get the notion that he's been taugh blah blah blah.. Our passing game is more than adequate for the scheme we run. One more thing, we just won a game last night throwing the ball 25-30 times, 26 to be exact.
hey you don't like my option, I don't give a @$#%, what I do see almost every ballgame, is we basically targeting only one or two receivers the two slot receivers, and we throw them short to medium safe passes, and occasionally we will send them over the top. Mean while our outside receivers Meadows in particular, only get one or two catchable passes thrown their way, they are basically used as blockers, and decoys, and you can see the frustration building, Meadows catches one pass and you see not emotion, just quietly walks back to the huddle, same with McGuire, they almost see bored because it become obvious their not going to get a lot of catchable balls thrown their way, I admit Im nickpicking we still have the top offense in the SBC, but sooner or later, someone is going take away the running game, and those slot receivers and we are going to have to win a game throwing to those outside receivers, not sure we can win doing that.
