Women will be better than last year but the MAC is sooo much better. Than it was even five years ago. The days of a BG dominating are over. BSU and EMU will be the class of the West. The rest could finish in any order.

I think the Rockets should be ahead of Western Michigan, and Ball State should be ahead of Eastern.

I am startled that EMU out recruits UT. Nothing special about EMU academically, and why would anyone want to play in front of 300 people instead of 3000.

Salesmenship. EMU has some good programs that might be attractive to athletes looking to stay in that business in some capacity. As a college town, I think Ypsi beats BG. It has it's own little college district as well as a small town downtown, a long strip of other type businesses and a diversity of restaurants and hang-outs and it's a few minutes from Ann Arbor. Make the right connections with high school coaches producing players and it's really not that hard a sell. The bigger question is why is Ypsi not sold on EMU? They can't ALL go to games in Ann Arbor and most are not going to school there. It's the Admin at EMU that's failed. Washtenaw County does a better job selling its programs.

Not sure they do. Their best player wanted to come to Toledo, I believe, but we went for Cat Wells who washed out into obscurity. We've beaten them pretty regularly over the Cullop years until recently. And remember- that 300 number is only for Toledo games when 200 Toledo fans make the trip up.
