Texas State holding South to 16 points doesn't make me feel warm an fuzzy on the inside.

I don't care if we had two weeks to prepare for this game. We can't win this game if we don't tackle and get turnovers. The other night the tackling was better, but we still are not creating turnovers. We are the only FBS school in the country without an interception and we have only four turnovers for the season, also last in the country. This would be a perfect time for the defense to come up with three or four turnovers and for the offense to play an error free game. We can't win with our usual game.

I never said we'd win. . . . . all I'm saying is: We ain't dead . .. . yet . . .

I'm not arguing with the point spread, the way we've played this year, why would it be otherwise . . . .

In any event, we don't have long to wait . .. . 04-cheers

We have 4 turnovers? Damn, didn't think we had that many.

I say we have 7; just 3 of them the refs decided we didn't.

RE: Texas St/Ga Southern game talk
This will be a tough game. Our fan base was a bit over confident going into this season considering the number of starters gone from the OL. We got off to a decent start before the App State game but that exposed our inexperience and depth.

Texas State has a better team than their record indicates. The advantage for Georgia Southern is that we've been back in Statesboro since Thursday to begin preparing.

I think Georgia Southern wins by 10.

We come out mad and dominate from kickoff. Win by at least 3 touchdowns.

I think you will see a more focused, determined, and pissed group for GS on Thursday. We win big.

So Georgia Southern was not focused and determined when they played App State? Fans are pissed after a loss. The team puts the last game behind them and prepares for the next game. I think both teams will be focused, determined and prepared for this game and both teams need a win. It should be a good game.

THIS ! And if Southern wasn't focused for their BIG Rival, then I don't know who they'd be focused for . . . .

I hope it's a good game . . . Like everyone else, I'm a little worried about the short week . . . Coming off the USA game, don't know yet if it's a good thing . . . Or a bad thing . .

We'll know soon enough . . . .

If we throw it, we may remedy that for you, but then again we may not throw it at all.

Please throw it? I'd like to have at least ONE interception before we hit the 2/3's of the season mark.

Jesus, that's sad. And we've played THROWING TEAMS A BUNCH!

Most of our passes are too far off the mark to get near anyone, defenders included.

When you are completing 41% and are throwing more intercepts than TDs by about an 8 to 1 margin I m not sure we need to throw

It's a long trip and a Thursday night game, will any Texas State fans be there? If so, they'll be welcome at our tailgate.
