Not surprised. Y'all were the first, won't be the last.

App will have a lot of fun with it. Not sure the crowds you will face at Georgia State and USA will do enough to make a big thing of it.

Other than our student section, I hope our fans take the high road.

I am all for using any ammo you can get on a team. If we had made a similar mistake, I would hope Cajuns fans would never allow us to hear the end of it on the field.

I haven't read this entire thread, so apologies if it has been posted. Any idea what the ratings were for this game? Or when they'll be released? How about the other televised weeknight games?

351k for second highest on ESPN2 that day.

In perspective, last Tuesday's stAte@USA drew 287k. Not bad numbers considering it's going head to head with the MLB.

Awesome - thanks. Coastal has a game vs Liberty in a few weeks on ESPNews Thursday night - so will be interesting to compare - I doubt it touches those numbers. We had a playoff game vs NDSU on ESPN2 that was 1.4 million but the situation is way different - Saturday morning, one of few games on, it was a great matchup, ....

I'm interested in the ratings for tomorrow's game too - I wonder if App vs Ga Southern may do the same or better.

351k is pretty good. That's summer Sunday night MLS numbers.

UL and stAte usually have decent numbers. That's why I doubt our games against each other will be on a Sat. for awhile.

Yeah, they definitely want to put the marquee match-ups in these weeknight slots to maximize ratings. Kinda hurts our attendance numbers, which sucks... but I'll take a big game (or 2) on ESPN2 over +800 average game attendance.

I know the game is over but I won't where Crazy Cajun is at. Since UL lost and the only unsportsmanlike penalty was on them he has nothing to talk about. Ain't that a shame.

I watched most of the game.

The thing that struck me is just how High Schoolish both offenses are.

Gimmicky, some option, terrible passing.

Houston Nutt would have been proud.

I HATE high School offenses.

CrazyCajun is right here Osage, I have no reason to hide. What I stated about Woodson was fact! No smack about the game bro, although I was waiting for one you State fans to come running his mouth after winning the game. You will find no smack about the game from me in this thread, just the fact that Woodson was still in your program. As for the personal foul, we didn't get to see it because the ESPN did not show us the scuffle during the game. So I have no idea who did what because there was no replay of the kickoff. Was their a penalty called on that play? Did he spit on a another player or threaten his life?

LOL...I didn't see it either. I thought your guys might get one on the kick off when two them held one of our players down and gave him a bit of a hard time. I think both coaches got the players attention and made sure there was no stupidity going on. Just goes to show those two teams can play a good clean game. Good luck the rest of the way.

Well congrats on the win, State was clearly better Tuesday night although I think both teams are not very well coached right now. App State and Georgia Southern are better coached teams. I don't see a huge talent separation between App. State, Georgia Southern, AState, UL or USA. But both teams playing tonight are better coached.
