What my esteemed Bulldawg brother was saying is "We look forward to hosting your team in Ruston. We hope you enjoy the pregame tailgating and have a safe trip home at halftime."

Well I'm betting that if tech doesnt win, you and yours already have a loooong list of excuses planned. If we can pull out the W, I will count it as a quality win. I have been very impressed with tech so far. Some bumps but I think yall have a quality squad. Your fans on the other hand, are top notch excuse makers without equal..

Why do LA Tech threads always have to end up as sparring sessions with these inbreds from UL-Laughyette? If we play ULL like we did KSU yesterday, LA Tech will win by 6 TD's.

You guys are unbelievable. Your team played a great game and can still have a great season but you crap on their performance by not giving the other team credit. I'm guessing if we pull out a win in 2 weeks, your world will end. I can hear it now "Well of course The University of Louisiana gets ALL the calls!"

This is just a stupid post.

No one is doing disservice to our team. As a matter fact, the general consensus is that they played their hearts out in that game. I highly doubt that any fan could hold back reaction if their team lost aa 3OT game ending on two controversial calls. If you're looking for reason to bicker with your Louisiana yankee brethren I'm sorry...but you're reaching here, fella.

Actually, his post is not stupid. The overriding theme from many Tech posters here and on your fanbase site are that the refs cost you the game.

He gave your team kudos for their performance but also pointed out that KS did what it had to do to win. Yeah, some calls didn't go your way, but that's not really a surprise, is it? It's called home cookin' and it happens all across America every Saturday gameday.

The truth is that any number of fundamental errors on Tech's part, on the field and by the coaches, had they not occurred, would have changed the final outcome of the game. That's football.

Oh, thanks for explaining football to me. I never realized that there was another team in the field or sometimes refs make bad calls. What a revelation!

We know they played well. We know we made errors. We also know they made bad calls. But you want Tech fans to say nothing about the bad calls, but its OK to talk about our team mistakes? Did the refs cost us the game? Probably. Could we have done things in spite of that to win? Certainly. Is there anything to gain by taking shots at us for being upset about officiating? No. I think we are plenty self aware and I find it redundant that you keep bringing up what people say on another site as if it matters on this one. None of our conference mates care what your interpretation of the rhetoric at BB&B might be.

Wow, you offend easily Debbie. Sorry, but I just don't have much tolerance for fans who whine about officiating when their team clearly controlled their own destiny even with the lousy calls.

Sort of like Cajun fans whining about the SEC refs costing us the game at Kentucky. I pointed out the first play from scrimmage (a 75 yard TD run) was what cost us the game, not the refs.

But, carry on.

Well thanks for your uninvited input. It was as good for this thread as an umbrella would be in the desert.

Are you talking about the game where Kentucky was winning 27-7 half way through the third quarter? I remember looking at the score at the Tech game, then looking at the final score. ULL did make it a close game by the end of the game.

I don't understand why all of the tech threads have to turn into a thread about The University of Louisiana.
You just compared the top of the Big12 with the bottom of the SEC. You have lost any minuscule speck of credibility you may have had. You may now return to blaming Satan et al, for techs loss.

Yes, there is no doubt that ULL is very good in baseball and softball.

That maybe due to the fact that every time we lose a game a couple of ULL fans show up on our board to post about it.

Which tech poster is that? All of them?

I originally came on to post that I was extremely impressed with tech's team in both the WKU and the KSU games. Then I read all of the excuse making and...well...you know the rest.

The best is the ULL excuse that y'all overlooked us last year and were too confident that you would blow us out that you ended up getting blown out. Classic!

Another classic was that if you took away Tech's 5 biggest plays (for 300 yards of offense), it would have been a close game.
