Big game for Huskie fans to watch tonight. BC hosts the Criminoles at 7:00 PM (CDT) on ESPN.

BC seems to have a pretty good defense but their offense is suspect with a bunch of their players graduating after last season. I think they will keep it close for 2-3 quarters, but FSU should win by 10-17 points.

I think BC is gonna give FSU a run for their money..but this will be the first time I have actually really watched them play. Though, I just have a feeling BC is a surprise team this year

Amazing how the BC game looked winnable just a few weeks ago, no one saw their defense this dominant.

What's amazing is that you call yourself a Huskies fan. The game against BC is still very winnable.

I just don't understand what you guys are seeing. They played 2 BAD lower division teams.

Maine was the media picked 7th in the CAA

Howard was picked to be 9th in the MEAC

The BC D is decent but its not great nor dominant. Their O is terrible. I fully expect us to win this game much like 2013 Purdue.

Yes they may have some hype juice vs FSU which may make it a fun game in the first half but I fully expect them to be curb stomped by the end of the game tonight.

RE: BC vs. Florida State - tonight on ESPN
Does anyone feel like this year, we have seen maybe the worst college football that we have seen in a long time. I honestly don't trust any team ranked 3rd to 20th. I don't know if its just really bad quarterback play this year or not, but the elite teams do not see nearly at that elite level to me. Granted OSU is probably as good as any number 1 in college football history, but after that, it just seems like a suckfest.

Exactly, BC has looked so great because they've played two 1-AA teams at home. Heck even App St beat that Howard team 49-0.

If anything, this is their first actual opponent and I wouldn't be surprised if they lose big.

I think BC will stay in the game because their defense is good and this just is not a typical top 10 team with FSU, no teams in that 5 to 15 range are anywhere near as good as 5-15 teams in previous years.

This definitely isn't the FSU team of the last three years. But even then they have recruited top classes and should have no problem with BC. BC hasn't been good since Matt Ryan. They've been average at best.

Something else to keep in mind for the NIU game is that not only does BC play FSU this week, they play Duke the week after NIU, which is another really good team.

I think the Huskies had a good chance of winning at BC assuming there are no major injuries in the OSU game. After OSU - I think the Huskies have > 50% chance to win every game on the schedule

I know there are a lot of statistical measure out there, and I have no stock in masseyratings.com, but I just feel this site is 2nd to none when it comes to handicapping. Almost every point spread I have ever seen is within 2 to 4 points of what this system projects.

http://masseyratings.com/team.php?t=5634&s=279541

According to Massey NIU should be about 10 pt underdogs at BC with a 23% chance of victory (much better than the 2% for the Bucks!), but then you are right > 50% for every remaining game with the exception of @ Toledo where NIU should be 7 point dogs with a 31% chance of a win.

My biggest fear from tomorrow's game - injuries. Hoping we make it out of Columbus intact.
I was planning on watching BC & the Criminoles tonight. I can do without that incessant war chant tho.

Shouldn't hear much of that obnoxious chant. The game's in Boston.

I wouldn't say that. Think @Toledo. And definitely some that at Least challenge the 50% mark (Ohio, WMU, CMU-the-curse-of-NIU, @BC being about 50/50 thinking favorably toward NIU).

I think after the BC/FSU game, and after the OSU game tomorrow -- one will have a good assessment on how much below or above 50% NIU has @BC.
