This is gonna be a great game one way or another. So much smack has been talked this past year on both sides that it will be impossible to back away from. The whole world will get to watch this game and I expect some surprises.

I have been a fan of Tech for many years, as they at one time were an every year rival for us. However, I believe home field advantage will be the difference.

Nastybunch is an old nickname for our defense, Redbird is a nickname I have been trying to get rid of since junior high. Probably shouldn't have let that cat out of the bag, should I?....lol

how did you feel going from the 2nd to the 3rd kid? we are expecting our third bulldawg in Jan. Not sure what we are putting ourselves into yet :)

there's been a ton of smack talked but it was decidedly one-sided. from the la tech side. there've been a few western fans (i wasn't one) that have tried to mitigate the drubbing by using the fact that a teammate died in a fire the night before the game.

people that lose by our score didn't talk smack. if you go back and read through this thread you'll probably find as many western fans expecting a loss as a win. (i'm already down for the loss. penciled it in a long time ago when the schedule came out). 99% of tech fans are calling for a tech win. they have the blueprint for beating doughty. he'll be running for his life tomorrow night.

Nerves are starting to build up for myself, as I'm sure it is for many others. All the offseason talk is finally coming to a head when these two teams meet tonight! This game is a huge statement game for both teams. LaTech can solidify themselves as the leader in CUSA with a road win against the predicted eastern division winner. Or WKU can prove doubters wrong and recover from a dismal showing last year in Ruston. Absolutely no way I predict a winner in this game, but it'll be a battle, that's for sure!

I'm excited. Here's to a Toppers win. Lets live up to the hype!

As another Tech fan told me before the birth of my last kid. Its like going from man coverage to zone! Besides that I love it. My boys are great and future bulldogs to!!
