RE: If not Miles... then who?
We hired a staff of Midwesterners to try to recruit in the South. That's why we have a Fullback starting at RB.

Ehh....I don't know...even Miles said he wouldn't have recruited most of the guys he inherited from Curry.

RE: If not Miles... then who?
I keep reading the excuse that GaSt was only suppose to be FCS in the beginning and that you recruited FCS players. If I'm not mistaken, no matter what level you are, aren't you recruiting the best players possible, could GaSt have recruited better players had there been a plan to move FBS from the beginning??? I just don't see it.

In the end, you guys hired the wrong coach with minimal success at the FCS level. A good hire can change everything, use UAb as your reference on that. It will be very telling on how smart or dedicated GaSt is with their next football hire.

When we moved from FCS to FBS the coaches said they had players who wouldn't even talk to them when we were FCS that are now wanting to come to stAte. Of course if you go back and look at our record at that time you might doubt those players were not as good as the guys we were getting when we were a FCS contender. Pretty sure the coaches weren"t.

You lost me. What facilities are we lacking?

We play in a nice NFL facility.
We have a nice football practice complex.
We now have a football only weight room.
Outside of football we are building a basketball practice facility.
We just added a new scoreboard to the Sports Arena that costs $1M. Also making other improvements to the SA for this season.
We still have a 5k sq foot weight room for other sports.
We are buying The Ted.

Exactly. Players are going to take the best offer available and very rarely is that FCS over FBS. And when you have as many as 10-12 G5 programs picking over Atlanta, FCS programs will lose that battle 99 times out of 100.

Well yeah he wouldn't have recruited them because they were FCS players. But is his recruiting better? I mean we are offering HS backups. LOL.

You should go for Brent Davis at Army. I'd love to see him in Paulson.

5 of his recruits ended up in the NFL. He did hire one of the worst OCs ever. Ask UMass.

If you think he a good coach then Im sure he is.

I think you're lost, the OVC board is over here.

We just a 3 star WR commit yesterday despite the Friday debacle. And Ruiz and Harden will likely get drafted. No need to change the offense.

Just need to get a QB that can throw the ball further then 10 yards and it not be a floater.

UGA, GT, Georgia Southern, Mercer, even Kennesaw State. What do they all have in common? They run the football effectively. Not saying you need to go full triple option. But running the football at some point might not be a bad idea. I know you're thin in that area, but there's no excuse for that. This is Georgia, running backs grow on trees. Swing a dead cat and you hit 1 5-star, 3 4-stars, and 5 3-stars. Keep that defense off the field and keep Arbuckle on it and upright.

Not disagreeing. Pro style offense usually means a downhill running game. And as you say it's GA. That has to be fixed.
