Watkins has bounced around a lot since he was a part of Haase's first signing class with Mehinti, Madison, Watts and Washington.

He failed to qualify and went to JC for one year. Last year, he signed with Florida State, where he averaged about 1.5 points per game. After the season, he announced he was transferring, and is now at UALR.

It's a shame, because he seemed to be the shining star of that first class

One correction. He was qualified, but chose not to attend UAB. the thought was that some 'people" got in his head and told him he could do better than UAB.

I was going by what was reported when he signed with FSU.

Most non-qualifiers have to complete JUCO before going D1...
