I use to see it some. I haven't been out and about much recently. But today as I went out to scout a spot to watch the local city 4th of July fireworks .... it was EVERYWHERE. Mailboxes. Bumper stickers. Window clings. Giant house sized flags welded or strapped into roll bars of pickups.

The amount of people using it will decrease and the amount of people that disprove of it will increase. However the select idiots who already owned it will just display it more.

People are so ignorant. I saw a pic on Facebook of 3 girls next to the confederate flag with the caption "Celebrating America". I had to inform them that they weren't "Celebrating America" to which I then got a bunch of states rights and northern aggression bs thrown at me.

Yeah, that whole Northern aggression thing never happened.

Same thing happened in the mid to late 90s when the flag was under assault. I have no skin in the game except the wish to see the SJWs defeated.

The number of people disapproving isn't going to continue to increase. Most likely it will be quite the opposite as the knee-jerk reaction calms down.
Too bad there hasn't been a single honest discussion about why this guy murdered 9 people and how we as a country can try to limit the occurrence of events like this. It was silly enough to blame the gun for Sandy Hook, and just stupid to blame a flag in a picture for Charleston.

If there's a publicly owned museum or a Civil War reenactment in a public park, there will be Confederate flags. You can't have the guys in gray flying U.N. or rainbow flags.

My boss said they are flying everywhere at the lake this weekend. On $1,000,000 homes, boats, girls in the Rebel flag bikinis. He's a Miss State fan and said he hasn't seen this many since Ole Miss football games years ago.

I also thought it was hilarious that when Barry came to Nashville earlier this week, many people lined the streets his motorcade drove down and waved Confederate flags. That's what TN thinks of you Barry.

Flag shops and Army Surplus stores cant keep them on the shelves. My brother bought the last 2 that a local AS store had. They were expecting more, but people are buying them up like crazy.

So basically we are entering a new era of the misuse of a flag that should be treated with respect. More than 1/3 of a million men died under that flag. It isn't meant to be trivialized for political OR commercial purposes. They are insulting the memory of those men when it is reduced to this.

We don't see any here. Dallas isn't as Southern as other areas of the former Confederacy because it didn't develop as a city until after the war. And most of us are from Illinois or California.
