He could go to the Bulls, Cavs or Pelicans. None would surprise me. U know his ego will not let him live with the fact that he is seen as a failure at that level. It will happen eventually. He can't resist letting people know that he can coach at the highest level. If I were him I would wait til Blatt is fired or go coach his former star Anthony Davis who in a few years will be the league MVP. He has lots of options what else is there to do at the college level. U know he wants to join Larry Brown as the only coach to have won titles at both levels. I doubt the Bulls though cause they seem to be hard to work for and I don't think Cal wants to walk into that but if given control of day a team like the Pelicans with a guy he coached in college who is gonna be crazy good in the years to come I could see that. His recruiting this year is way down comparatively speaking. If he can't win a title with five or six first round picks then I dunno when he will win another one. Davis got him a title in college and could prob get him a couple in the league so I would jump if I were him. U know the NCAA is sniffing around it's only a matter of time before something hits the fan at UK.He should take the Pelicans job or Cavs if offered. He'd be crazy not to do it.

He's too old now. He's going to ride it out at UK. Too easy and he's now untouchable

He makes 8 mil per year at UK. He's not going to the NBA.

Sooner or later, you guys will be right. Cal will go to the NBA. Almost every year someone is "calling it" and seven years later he's still at Kentucky.

In 2021 he'll finally go to the NBA and someone here will be all like "Hahaha...I told you he wasn't going to stay at Kentucky."

It would be illogical for him to go somewhere where recruiting is less valuable than coaching and where education is held in higher esteem.

Cal is never going to the NBA again. He is not a great coach and that is exposed when he is in the NBA. He can only win big when he has far superior talent as he had in his last four years here and the time he has been at UK.

Very similar to D Rose with the Bulls.....a knee injury set him way back. He found a home at Carver though.

Has nothing to do with coaching or talent.

No one is going to pay him or pretty much any other coach $8 million per in the NBA.
