Martinez to West Ham, Klopp to Everton!

I agree with almost everything presented here even down to Browning should be played more. GK wise I believe Robles is the man for us. Anyway the only over 30 player I would keep is Baines (this would mean selling off/not resigning 9 players). After the mass exodus (4 of the 9 on the DEF) the def would look like:

LB: Oviedo, Garbutt, Baines
CB: Stones (RB also), Pennington
RB: Coleman, Browning
Unsure: Galloway (Also a MF so let's assume CB)

Honestly that's not a bad base and would only need 2 maybe 3 CBs with at least one that can start/has experience from day 1.

Doubt it. FSG still cleaning out last owners mess. See roster.

However, he second guesses himself on the formation too often and has been arrogant when he's successful.

Not having the balls to bench Gerrard against Villa cost us. He should have been a 75th minute sub.

Next season - already key things:

Move Can to DM is huge and lets him boss the game. You could tell the team reacted negatively to Gerrard's presence last Sunday. Our midfield was spineless.

Can is the future skipper. Bayern wanted him to wait a year. He said "F You." He will be a force for Germany too.

Moving Can to DM provides proper cover for Lovren. Who has been promising lately. But Lovren-Sahko-Skrtel will be sufficient. Just ditch the back 3 bull****. Then let Origi and Sterling fly on the wings with Balo/Studge in the middle. Hendo also bossing midfield. Lallana being extra fire power. We've had a **** load of injuries this year. But the future is bright.

We'll buy another wing back-keeper-midfield-striker in the summer.

Real Madrid seems to have gotten the easiest path. Barca/Bayern should be a great couple of matches. Will be interesting to see Pep go against his former team.

Fox Soccer Coverage Beginning in August:

Tuesdays
3 PM - UCL (FS1, FS2, FS+)

Wednesdays
3 PM - UCL (FS1, FS2, FS+)

Thursdays
Noon/1 PM - UEL (FS1, FS2, FS+)
3 PM - UEL (FS1, FS2, FS+)

Fridays
2:30 PM - Bundesliga (Likely FS1 unless NASCAR has early qualifying)

Saturdays
9:30 AM - Bundesliga (FS1 with extra games likely on FS2 and FS+)
12:30 PM - Bundesliga (Likely a mix of FS1 and Fox*)

Sundays
9:30 AM - Bundesliga (FS1)
11:30 PM - Bundesliga (FS1 maybe FS2 if NASCAR coverage overlaps)
7 PM - MLS (FS1)
Sometimes 9 PM - MLS (FS1)

FA Cup: Various (Though I think this package should be with the EPL rights moving forward or let NBCSN win it.)

*I looked at the CFB schedule last year and Fox rarely had back to back afternoon games. So we're looking at either no Noon CFB broadcasts (an hour pregame show would fill the void nicely till 3:30), Bundesliga matches on Fox (no early games ever shown at all on Fox), or something moving to FS2 (I would hazard football so they can leverage customers to demand FS2 to be added to their carrier).

RE: OT: The NEW Official Soccer Thread
Leicester wins again. Now out of the Bottom 3 in 17th on 31 points. Sunderland has now entered the relegation zone, pending tomorrow's result.

Villa and Newcastle have both been drug back into the relegation fray. Newcastle is 6 clear, but haven't won a match since February, and still have games against Leicester and QPR. Villa is only 3 clear, but would be only one clear if Sunderland picked up 3 points tomorrow.

14. Newcastle 35 points
15. Hull 32 points
16. Villa 32 points
17. Leicester 31 points
18. Sunderland 29 points
19. QPR 26 points
20. Burnley 26 points

Also, Liverpool probably killed their chammpions league hopes with today's draw.

Sunderland, Newcastle, and QPR are who I want to go down. But Burnley sh*t the bed today in a huge 6 pointer.

Everton is leading 1-0 and Afro Traitor already has a yellow and it's only 15 minutes in. Great start to the morning!
