I generally try and not read too much into exhibition games like this, but you still like to see a little moxy out there. Adonis and Joe didn't exactly show out in this game if memory serves me correct. Hopefully this isn't an any indication of what Dedric will do at Memphis.

Dedric's body doesn't look like a one and done guy. I'm guessing expectations of a Memphis player yet again way too high.

I haven't heard many calling Dedric one and done.

I think the expectation is he is top 50 and should contribute.

He definitely shouldn't get any DNP unless he smiles too much.

Maybe the one and done talk has died down, but it was certainly the consensus back in the fall. I could also misremember.

I doubt either Lawson should start, but folks tell me they almost have to start to keep things calm.

But with Austin, Shaq, and Burrell - seems like 2 seniors and 1 junior should start.

With big daddy on the bench I don't think that'll happen. I don't think he'll get a 2 month headache like Powell nor the concussion syndrome like Iverson either.

The Lawsons don't need to be all-stars right off the bat to contribute greatly to the team. They just need to do what they do best and from what I have seen they both seem to be team players. The issue will be the backcourt (whether or not we get very good grad transfer) and the progress of Markel and Kedren. The front court is not the problem and should be fine
