The last three years have been Pitt, Purdue and Toledo. I sure would take any of those over Alabama A&M and Martin.

There were a few cupcakes before that - Austin Peay one year, and Eastern Kentucky. Southeast Missouri? I didn't mind those as much, given that we had a much more interesting conference schedule.

I think this coaching staff likes having an exhibition style opening game. I can live with seven home games in 2016.

Ha! I forgot about that. Wow, between parachute fails and snowball fights, that was a rough stretch for the Bearcat.

That's a silly bet to make. The Star Wars characters, as you might expect, have strong connections to the red planet and sources are suggesting that Cincinnati is a strong candidate for intragalatic expansion.

We couldn't at least get a Sun Belt school? This legitimately pisses me off.

You don't warn to schedule too heavy in 2016. The conference schedule of Oklahoma, Baylor and Kansas State will be plenty challenging. I don't mind opening with a cupcake to get an easy win.

90% of the country opens up with an FCS school. Not a big deal.
