How about I will confirm and I have spoken to task force members as well as some extremely close to the situation. No one is trying to start anything up. Good grief.

I was just considering all possibilities on a rumor which at the time was questionable with shaky sources.

Well I never thought Watts was this much an idiot. Has he already forgot about the no confidence votes and why the Alumni Society stopped a step short of full no confidence in him?

But, a lot of people were waiting to see what the task force would do, so I suspect the FreeUAB movement just got a good jolt.

When you are on the wrong side of things (as Watts and the BOT are) you lose track of what you have done, what you have said, & what you need to work at keeping covered up, etc.

The hole is getting dug a lot deeper.

What now being reported sounds different from initial reports. "Standard review process" and "under review" is not as bad as "being rejected" and "not being allowed to use"

Except in Bizarro World UAB, "under review" has pretty damned ominous connotations.

I assume this will delay the start of the review? Does this also put the deadline of the report in jeopardy? Does the atf tell them to start the review regardless while they wait on FireWatts to complete his review of OSKR?

I understand this is all probably delay tactics by FireWatts (that's all he/they have done since this all started), just wondering if the atf will actually wait or push ahead?

And didn't the ATF come out at one point and say they had full autonomy from Watts? They were given full control of what they were doing and Watts was going to stay out of it.

In reviewing your post, I would say you are correct. The meeting today will apparently be a review of the decision yesterday to review the review of the review to drop football.
