RE: CAA Tournament
A championship team would find a way to beat TU and Drexel at home. We are squarely in the driver's seat with no concern beyond our next two opponents...can't ask for more than that.

That is exactly what we hoped for before the season when we were picked #3. This team has so very much talent that at times they are frustrating to watch, but all in all they have played well. Hoping to see Dixon back this week to begin to get in shape for post season...

RE: CAA Tournament
With one game left, this, to me, is the most likely scenario.
W&M vs Drexel = W&M
UNCW vs Elon = UNCW
NU vs CoC = NU
JMU vs HU = JMU
UD vs TU = UD
The JMU vs HU outcome doesn't matter. They will finish 4th or 5th and have to play each other Sat of the CAAT anyway. JMU beat them game one. Also, TU beat Elon both games so TU gets the tiebreaker.
I think the regular season will end up this way:
W&M (13-5)
UNCW (13-5)
NU (12-6)
JMU (11-7)
HU (11-7)
UD (9-9)
Drex (8-10)
TU (5-13)
Elon (5-13)
CoC (3-15)
Elon vs TU (TU)
CoC vs Drex (CoC)
TU vs W&M (W&M)
JMU vs HU (?)
CoC vs UNCW (UNCW)
UD vs NU (NU. Split the season)
W&M vs JMU/HU
UNCW vs UD/NU
W&M vs UNCW
W&M vs Villanova
What do you think?

IF W&M wins out, they will be better than a 15 seed. Should give them an rpi in the 60s and other mid major conferences will have upsets and take the lower seeds.
IF they win out, they will likely be a 14 seed with the possibility of a 13 seed if there are a lot of upsets in mid major conference tourneys

How do they configure that? Is it based on demand?
My understanding has always been that location is based on seed, quantity is based on demand.
If that's the case - very impressed with the W&M fanbase.

Spencer told me we only received 150 tickets in 100 level because of CAA premium seating in the front of the 110 section. We had way more requests than that for 100 level seating and those will be determined on loyalty points.

Well, that sucks. Wish I had known this when ordering and I might have done premium seats. I guess I'm not used to us being right behind the premium seats.

200 level should be fine. Pretty close and right near center court.

Fair point.. for my first number of years going to Richmond, when I didn't know to buy tickets through W&M, I loved sitting in the upper section - and the location of the upper section in Baltimore is better than Richmond.

I think it does suck that the top team gets so few 100 level seats. I now know I won't get one, but I foolishly bought my tickets through W&M. Oh well, I guess I will just have to sit in an empty seat somewhere else. I had 2nd row mid-court for the SoCon the last three years, I have gotten spoiled.
How are the ushers at this event about looking at tickets?

My guess would be that it has to do with which side will show a majority of the time on TV.

Only went to the championship game last year. Bought the tickets online on morning of game for the lowest price (nosebleeds). Went up to our seats. Ushers told us to leave and get lower so that it looks better on TV. Don't know if that will work for the earlier tournament games.

Same here, NJ. I bought the cheapest ticket and ended up sitting in row 2 near MT's parents.

Has anyone received their 200 level tickets from WM in the mail yet?
Getting psyched and hope my first time attending the CAA Tourney is memorable.
