Interesting?
Is this the kid who played against us?

NCAAF: Eastern Washington QB Vernon Adams (110 TDs in 3 seasons) transferring to Oregon; eligible to play this season

RE: Interesting?
I believe so. I remember being impressed. Similar to New Hampshire when we played them, offensively they moved the ball, but their D couldn't slow us down at all.

So if you transfer "up" from a FCS school to a FBS school, you can play immediately? Or is there more to this particular story (graduate with another year of eligibility)?

He will have his degree and so will be eligible to play immediately as a graduate transfer.

normally, you sit out if you transfer laterally or up. looks like a graduate situation.

I think you can transfer up immediately and play just like you can transfer down and play immediately.

He is a "graduate" transfer. That is why he can play right away. Just like the OL from Florida State who will play for UT this year.

Yep. I was impressed watching his highlight tapes and the season opener against Oregon State when he stunned the crowd in Corvallis.
