Never been, but have always thought the stadium looked really cool.

It's an extremely intimate (i.e. loud) stadium with no bad seats. With the current renovation, UC brings Nippert into the 21st century.

It's a great venue and, being smack dab in the middle of campus, be sure to take a tour - great architecture for being an urban campus. A lot nicer than when I attended (mid-70s).

Before/after the game, get some Goetta, Skyline Chili, Graeter's Ice Cream and check out a local brewery:

That's not a site.. that's some clown with a twitter account. I actually think nippert is a very unique stadium, but this poll is using Retweets vs favorites. If you know anything about twitter you'll realize RT's win all the time because of how it's set up. So, sorry. Nippert didn't beat out notre dame and a&m or even Minnesota lmfao I don't think nippert would win the best place to play AAC football. But that's a much closer race.

It's a gem of the sport. Last season sucked having to play in a sterile NFL stadium. There was zero home field advantage. Felt like exhibition games.

I've been all over and it is the loudest stadium I've ever been in. Will be even more so with the new design additions.

Going to be crazy next season.

It's a great stadium. Beautiful, historic and is college football. I can't wait to see it with the newly renovated sections!!

Any plans to renovate Clifton? - its still a dump.

I love Nippert Stadium. But even as a UC fan I'm not sure if it's the best in college football. Although I don't know which ones I would put up there.

I also don't think just because a stadium holds 80,000 - 100,000 people that makes it a great stadium. It just makes it a huge stadium.

Prior to the renovations and expansion being done Nippert certainly had some issues too - especially when the place is full. But those issues are being taken care of and the new Nippert will be even better.

Nippert has a lot going for it - in the heart of the campus, seats close to the action, no bad sight lines.

Impressive list! Brew pubs are were it's at! Went to ECU at Cincy in '03 I believe. UC beat us like we owed them money. It was the first game of the infamous "Thompson" era for us, but I had a great time in Cincy and have wanted to go back and hang out ever since. Good city to visit.

Aside from Hockey, Miami's athletic dept. is in the toilet. Nobody wants to drive into Oxford to watch Miami Basketball get their hat handed to them by Edinboro, Elon College and IPFW (Indiana-Purdue, Fort Wayne for those who do not know).

I could go on much more, but frankly Miami is not even worth mentioning.

It's not possible to take you seriously with comments like this. I went to Miami many times in college and a few times since to hang out with people up there. Enjoyed my nights in Steinkellers and up at top deck. It's a fine college town. I'd rather hang out in Clifton any day of the week. I can understand people preferring the simple college town atmosphere of Miami, but I can't take seriously anyone calling Clifton a dump.

Clifton has so much character and so many different types of options. Shortvine, Calhoun/McMillan, Ludlow all offer great options. There has also been plenty of renovation going on down there (see Shortvine and Calhoun/McMillan). Most of the renovation has been great though it has come at a cost (losing Christy's, Papa Dinos and way earlier losing In the Wood breaks make heart). Love Clifton. It's a wonderful place to hang out and far from a dump.

In my experience, usually the Miami grads/fans who say crap like he did about Clifton are racist pieces of garbage. Too many non-white people around for them to feel comfortable.

Miami OH...LOL. When is their football program going to the club sport level?
