This has been building for a few years. This season was just the final straw for most fans, including myself.

I've missed (skipped) more home games this year than the last four seasons combined.

Reading between the lines, these posts suggest that 'the powers that be' (assuming Rudd/Bowen) might be of the opinion that Josh deserves more time, as opposed to a quicker exit (end of season) ... perhaps regardless of season outcome ? Calkins position implies the damage to the program and support, along with reasonable expectations within 6-seasons, might suggest otherwise.

The math seems to support that. Regardless of the the arguments of the buyout number, losing 2,000+ people a game with likely more not renewing next year projects into a figure in the millions.

I wouldn't suspect many current tix holders would refuse to renew "in protest" if Josh were removed, but bringing in a new guy could re-energize a fan base suffering from malaise.
