RE: Kuran officially done
It is the wise thing to do for him. More schools have scholarships open in April. Plus, if he transfers now, he only has three semesters to play, whereas transferring at the end of the semester gives him two full seasons.

That is assuming he doesn't get the hardship/no renewed scholarship waiver.

Most college coaches are concerned about their players using social media and some even monitor their use

I wouldn't have kicked him for Twitter stupidity, but he would've run for days and days.

Apparently, there was more behind the scenes and this was the final straw.

I was a believer in Kuran and pulling hard for him to get more playing time, but he had to go.

Well, now have four available scholarships with only three commitments.

Could have two to give depending on whether or not they have D'Marnier on one.

I count eleven without him on scholarship and the Lawsons/Broddie coming in.

I didn't count Cunningham since it's just a freebie scholarship this year, per the head coach.

Lose schollies from KI, Magee, Cunningham and Godfrey.

*I also wouldn't be shocked if a couple other guys transfer at the end of the year due to reduced roles/playing time and similar players coming in.

It is what it is. I wish Kuran the best moving forward and hope it turns out well for both him and the Tigers program.

Is Nick Marshall still coming?

Think he is the next year based on grades or something.

RE: Kuran officially done
I hate this for Kuran, and I hate this for the team because of his potential, but as far as what he was actually bringing to the floor right now he will be easily replaced. Someone else pointed out in another thread that Josh has yet to remove a player that went on to do great things. We'll see if Kuran follows that same trend. I, for one, don't see him going to a better program and doing great, but he could go to a lesser program and be the best player on the team.

What I really want to know is what is going to happen if AN gets drafted?? We will be worse off next year even with the Lawson's coming in.. I presume he will have to go the Juco route again.. Not sure if AN will be drafted but his stock has to be rising.. Without AN this team and next years team would and will be bad!! We have no bigs coming in that I know of and that will kill any hopes next season!!

I liked the kid, but there is a reason that a lot of schools backed off.
