With Bowie likely out for year the goals obviously change but I think with depth of the MAC this year without highsmith we kind of figured that was a pipe dream. Still plenty of reasons to watch this year. NIU really needs to develop Maric. Get Bowie and Highsmith back next year and you could have a contender. Gutsy effort by NIU tonight late.

If we didn't have bad luck, we wouldn't have any luck at all.

Diehard fan here but I just have a hard time watching the games...they go along looking great and then **** happens...really bad shots, turnovers, etc

Do not see consistent flow to the play

Maybe it's just me

It's mostly just you. It took 2 years to win 10 games, Huskies have won 11 in a row at home. Team is not good but is competing. Need Threloff and Aaric Armstead to start playing harder. Those two are not playing as hard as they can! Team was very flat tonight.

Thank God the refs were on our side tonight.
NIU 35 free throw attempts UCR with 11 attempts
Rarely do you win when the other team makes 5 more field goals than you.

Decent crowd by NIU standards. Can't wait for the students and band to be back.

Nice job MD

Thanks, that qualifies as right for the wrong reason, I did not have this going to OT.

Perhaps the most embarrassing moment of the night, NIU's PA announcer calling Travon Baker Travon Martin after a basket, doh.

Yeah, NIU basketball is better, but it's still not "must see." And with the top two scorers down....oh man. You'd better love hustle.

I think the best case scenario is a separation.

EDIT: Monty says he's day to day, so maybe his shoulder always looked like that, ha.

Andy Garcia is odd too. He randomly emphasizes words. It boggles the mind.
