You've got some things backwards on the Women's side. Aundrea Gamble is our SBC Player of the Year. Taylor Gault played for UALR. Also, you forgot our win over UT-Chatanooga, who has beaten Tennessee and Stanford this season.

Oops, you are right. I was running behind trying to get the women's up as the games were going on. I'll correct it right away.

Also - don't be quick to dismiss some of those Southland Conference basketball teams, they can play basketball at a level not far off from the SBC

Georgia State: There is no signature win and some losses to Colorado State, Old Dominion and Wisconsin-Green Bay, teams the top of the SBC could and maybe should beat, IMHO.

Colorado State - 13-0, ranked #24 in the country.
Old Dominion - 11-1, we lost on the road, in OT
Wisconsin-Green Bay - 10-3, Beat #15 Miami (FL) on the road, and beat UALR (who you have to picked to finish 3rd in the conf.) by 20. We split a home and home with them. I would be very curious to see how the top half of the Belt would do against those teams.

RE: My Sun Belt Conference Predictions
As a member of that conference for roughly 40 years, I'm quite familiar. with how they operate. They try are are one of the better I-AA conferences, but don't do much for basketball. A top level SBC team should always be competitive against and nearly always beat any SLC team. All SBC teams should beat midlevel and down SLC teams.

The SLC has just let in too many teams for football reasons, UCA, HBU, Nicholls, etc. to be competitive in the sport.

We beat miss state in 2012 and still finished 8th in the conference... Beating miss state doesn't make you a top sbc program lol

So...you're telling me what I already know? That our basketball team sucks?

I'm not disguising that Miss State win as being anything other than funny. I'm just pointing out that the league is generally awful this season, which is the problem.

Lol... You beat Troy.

A basketball team that has 1 SBC championship in 10 seasons and last NCAA Appearances was 2003. And has tons of injuries already this year with a young team.
Good luck.

Btw. I realize you were being sarcastic lol.

Stop living in the past . . . Tis a new era in Bobcat Basketball . . . . Seriously, not expecting to "shock the world". Do believe that we'll be better than last year. In Kaspar we trust . . . .
