Not bad just underachieving

And Tarik was a key part of those seasons as well, so those that think Memphis had good/great seasons need to also acknowledge that the kid they love to bash was a reason why.

Actually; we would have been better if Black was better.

We would've been worse without him.

Wow, you really have come over to the dark side.

However, I think it's '#snicker' if you REALLY want to be cool, lol.

Kind of like it's 'effing' not 'fing'.......

Why do the miserables love some kid who got run off from Memphis, and didn't do jack at Kansas? (I think he averaged 5 points, 4 boards a game at Kansas)

He was pretty decent his first two years here...

Dont know what you mean by miserables unless you are talking about the poster that says "who" or the one that says "NTR" in every Tarik thread. All I see is a good kid who helped lead us to victory vs St Mary's, graduated in 3 years and beat the odds in making the NBA.

Keep on hatin doe

They sure didn't love Black or talk glowingly about him when he was here. The love started when he was getting disciplined by Pastner for having a terrible attitude, and went into full bloom when he transferred.

They don't even care at all that he spent 20 years in Memphis; 6 months at Kansas, and calls himself a Jayhawk.

Frankly you don't have a clue. I've known Tarik and his family for over 10 years. When he played bad i said he played bad. Aren't you one of the geniuses that said his lack of rebounding was because Josh's "system" allowed our guards to get more boards? Thats right up there with Frank helping players get a year older.

No worries, amigo.

He is from Memphis.

He graduated from Memphis. (3 conference titles, 3 NCAA appearances)

He is in the NBA.

If that blows your mind, you may want to quit being so short sighted.

Those conference titles and ncaa appearances only count when we are talking about the coach

No, not really. Just the irony of the statement is priceless. And I am very happy for Tarik.

Really, you does. Tarik has almost 0 to do with what's going on here. Any piece of meat would have done. I'm bored watching people take sides over and over.

Where's TigerStrong and where's Micky?

Agree. Irony was priceless. I don't think they liked you pointing that out overly much.
