It is being used as a spearhead to make new laws and policy. It has been the catchphrase flavor of the month for a few years now. Where have you been?

This thread is up for people who want to discuss it. If nobody wants to discuss, it will drop off the page like many others.

It is easy to say without being in someone else's shoes. I had an Aunt that suffered with cancer for 10 years. She literally begged her husband to take her life because of the unbearable pain. She lived in agony for another year. I see nothing moral about suffering.

The parents needed to step in and help the kid out. There were some cries for help, but they were all too easily ignored.

Glorify it? Doubtful. This is a straight up case of bullying causing the person to commit suicide. No more, no less.

Yes, every one of these cases seem to make major news stories. That is glorifying it. The kid got the exact result he wanted from his action.

As far as the "bullying" aspect, what kind of response does a grown man expect when he puts his fetish for little girl toys out there in public? Gotta think there was something not right to begin with. Can't really blame anonymous strangers on YouTube for that, regardless of the fact that the comments were douchey and unnecessary.

If one can't handle the internutz, then one deserves that ticket punched...

the internutz isn't monitored mandatory (key word) playground time....if it was, I would have purchased my ticket moons ago

So nEverRespect blames suicides on posting articles about suicides while posting an aticle on suicide. Gotcha.

If I get diagnosed with something terminal....it won't take Dr. K to take me out....totally agree.....keeping oneself alive to just breathe is plain silly and stupid....surely the omnipotent one wouldn't have designed that type of fail as normalcy...surely, right?

Don't many animal owners take 'them' out of 'their' misery when 'that' time comes?.....in those terms it is deemed "humane"....

oh, I forgot, b/c we can communicate more 'effectively' and build 'stuff', human(e)s are in a different class of 'off limits'

RE: Teenage My Little Pony fan APOLOGIZES to internet trolls; threw himself under train
Ok, here we go. When I was a kid all kids got bullied. I had my lunch money taken from me. I was punched in the arm or pinned down and given a pink belly. Unlike a computer, I couldn't close my browser to make it stop. As I got older and bigger the bullies moved on to smaller kids. And look at this, I'm still alive.

If there is a bullying epidemic like we've been led to believe, then how come we don't see suicides plastered all over the news every day? Is there a bullying epidemic or not? Or maybe bullying BY ITSELF doesn't lead to suicides. Ya think? I'm betting the kid was on the edge and, if anything, the bullying pushed him over it. So what pushed him to the edge? Of all the suicides being committed, does anyone know what percentage are factually attributed to bullying? Hell, my dominant cat bullies my two wimpy cats and they don't commit suicide. The pro gay people like to point to homosexuality in animals to show it's normal. But if animals bully each other doesn't that make bullying normal?

But keep playing T-ball where no one loses and when those kids grow up and lose at something, well, you reap what you sow.

I feel bad for the kid and his family. But if kids grew calluses they wouldn't get blisters the first time they do something.

Is trolling authorized in the AUP or is it yet another thing that mods can get away with while others can't?
