Some of you may remember on February 3rd 2012 I lost my wife suddenly to an Asthma attack. At the time of her death we had a five month old little boy. I'm here to report that my life is back on path. My little boy is three years old now. He's 3'6 48lbs a picture of health. However we recently found out he's got a touch of Asthma himself. I'm hoping he grows out of it. I have meet another woman. Who I love with all my heart, she is a widow with two kids. The three of them have been a blessing for me and little James. I have started a group for Widows and Widowers on Facebook. The group now has over 2600 members. We're helping members through tragedy and give them constant support. I also just completed my first semester in college. I miss my wife I think about her everyday. She's inspired me to do better for myself, to do better for our son and to do better for others. I was blessed to have her here on earth, but now I'm blessed to have her looking out for me from beyond.

I have had a rough year and a half myself, but it doesn't even compare to what you went through. It is good to see you getting things back together. Keep up the good work.

I lost a fiancee coming up on 14 years. Its very hard, but it does get better. I was stupid and never got any counseling or professional advice. It was a tough few years. Its great that you are making a positive impact and helping others.

Glad to hear you're doing so well. If I were to lose my wife, especially now since she's pregnant (or shortly after birth), I don't know how I'd get out of it.

That's phenomenal! One thinks that they are having a good day and then BAM you hit em with a wonderful story like that and it gets better! It's nice to hear that happiness can be found out of the worst of situations thanks to human perseverance! And your son is the luckiest of all to have such a positive and great father!
