UB doesn't even own Buffalo, they can't deliver Upstate, and they'd NEVER be New York's team and deliver The City or state.

Additional North East presence for this league is a great idea and New York Buffalo is brilliant.

They first have to win football games and have people show up to those games. Then, they need a major facilities upgrade.

WHile were at it, lets add Umass too... then we can all make even less per team and be seen as a worse conference. Brilliant.

Totally agree with you, jared... Buffalo is a AAU institute (Huge plus for the AAC) and also aware of the facility upgrades their program needs, but I can't shy at salivating the idea of adding the outstanding New York market too.

Just because you play in the market doesn't mean you deliver it. I grew up in NY and never watched a Buffalo, Rutgers, UCONN, etc. game. No one watched or cared about college sports and I didn't until I moved to Florida.

Most known programs are where they're now b/c of all the exposure they were shoved down their throats by ESPN/ABC/CBS over the years... I'm confident New York Buffalo if given the same tv exposure the New Yorkers will eventually tune $$$ in.

From NYC moved to Florida in HS, Yankees, Giants and Knicks are all that matter. Add the poor fans of the Mets and jets and not to mention two pro hockey teams. Buffalo would never deliver anything but a small portion of buffalo. They would have to do somerthing amazing to even slightly catch the attention of any place outside of buffalo. And playing in the AAC isn't going to even get a blip out old fatty fran. Not saying SUNY buffalo doesn't have qualities to offer but the market isn't one of them.
