Exactly. And I think you and I would both agree that this country has a history of white privilege that goes back centuries.

I actually wouldn't have too much of an issue with it IF it were taught from a historical perspective because, there is a historical period where there was, in fact, white privilege.

Nope. I don't. People, as a general rule, treat people not like themselves somewhat differently. Whether it meets the level of "privilege" is debatable at best, but way more often than not - just not true and certainly not legally.

I read that all humans are 99.9% genetically similar. That's amazing. I mean, fruit flies are more genetically diverse than humans. Once folks finally figure this out, all the racial nonsense will hopefully subside.

Notre Dame is a heck of a school. Please.

This class is a joke, however. The good news is that the STEM/professional students will be too busy taking important classes to attend. This is a big stink over a minor issue.

If this was the only case, I'd agree with you. However, it's not the only seminar that's been held on white privilege. And although it's only 10 students that will attend, BY INTERVIEW ONLY (what's that tell you), the university will fund their trip to Kentucky for more white privilege seminars. It's beyond ridiculous and pathetic that they even acknowledge this, much less the fact that they're going through with it and the university is allowing it.
