I could see us turning down the Music City to help ND. LSU wanted in that Bowl but Miles hasn't had the best of luck against Petrino, plus our former coach is on LSU's staff. ND would rather lose to an SEC west team than any other teams out there so it's a win, win, win.
We get Georgia who cancelled a game with us (thank goodness) and many player and staff connections. Not as close but great game!

I don't think there was any passing. If ND is in Nashville the MCB won the Irish lotto as unofficially announced mid-week.

I am more then fine with the Louisville - Georgia Matchup...like being the lower ranked team, underdogs against a Top 15 2014 Traditional SEC Power...Bring on the Bulldogs...

A horrible matchup competitively (LSU will run for 350 yards on ND's depleted, young defense and its defense will stop ND offensively), plus I live in Baton Rouge among all the LSU fans.

Also, my wife and I are planning a trip to Charlotte after Christmas and was going to attend the Belk Bowl if ND went there (wife has family in Charlotte).

Oh well, this last half of the season blew chunks. This will merely cap it off.

I can say that a majority of UCF Fans were looking to take it to UM only to discover it wasn't happening. I have a feeling you're as disappointed as we are.

My nomination for the bowl with the most puffery is the Gator Bowl on Jan 2nd. A fairly prominent landing spot goes to 7-5 Iowa vs 6-6 Tennessee. A .500 team in what used to be a New Year's Day bowl?

The Vols and Hawkeyes combined failed to beat a P5 team that finished over .500.

I love you feigned feelings. What type of bowl do you think UCF deserves? Unranked from a weakened AAC & you didn't even play the two co-champs in your league. Out of league you lost to a weak PSU, crushed by Mizzou and barely beat a neutered BYU after their QB went down.

NC State has plenty of weaknesses this year but an above .500 P5 is a fair opponent for UCF this year, even if the matchup doesn't have sizzle.

To the UCF guy -- man, your sig is WAAAAY too big. I'm sure many of us here and some of your AAC buddies would enjoy it if you made them just a "tad" smaller. Our browsers would thank you you, too.
