It is the truth, and nothing that Florida could do about it (unless they trade us a spot in one of their bowls). C-USA is apparently the backup if MWC cannot supply a team.

I'd be surprised if NO Bowl took MTSU over Rice as well...

I'll only BELIEVE IT, WHEN I SEE IT!!! Mike Slive would have a stroke if a CUSA team got into any Bowl that a SEC Team wants. And, I cannot imagine a 6-6 CUSA Squad being selected if a 6-6 CARTEL-5 Team is out there with no place to go. Sounds like we might find out what all these "secondary agreements" really mean in about 48 hours.

If this secondary holds up the Commish is going to deserve credit.

Florida doesn't travel well. I know most folks probably don't realize that, but they really don't.

I hope MT is in New Orleans. That is a great fit and I think you would beat the Cajuns. For timing only I wish Tech could have this bowl. All the bowls we are being picked for are on Christmas and you know family, that will be hard to get away for. If I were MT though, I would be there enjoying the great food!

What? They don't. They were outnumbered 2 to 1 by LOUISVILLE in the Sugar Bowl a while back.

Borthick gets it wrong about as often as he gets it right! But, on this secondary agreement deal, he is not the only one who has suggested that the NOLA Bowl goes to CUSA if MWC does not have enough teams to fill the spot. If that happens, I see Rice going there and MT going to the Island of the Bahamas! We'll have a lot better idea after Boise plays Fresno tonight.

I wouldn't be, they have played there before and traveled nicely. Rice doesn't.

Who ever is left from the ACC. SEC or B10 will be in the AF bowl over Ohio. I have been impressed with Banowsky. he is the best G5 Commish. When ever a P5 retires, he should really be considered for the job. What he has done with CUSA is impressive.

AGREED. It was Cincinnati instead of Louisville though. I was at the game and there were far more Cincy fans than Gator fans. I was sitting towards on of the endzones and the Florida side was pretty bad considering it was a BCS game on New Years Day.

2012 Armed Forces Bowl
Pics that I took. Don't remember what part of the game this was, think it was before the 2Q. Fort Worth is about 3 1/2- 4 hours from Houston. New Orleans is about 5 1/2.
