Is that accurate? If so that is hilarious. SoGa acts like they have owned App State for the last 40 years during their reign of excellence and dominance.

I'm happy to have App State as a conference member, Southern Ga ...... not so much.

PS - I am making the trip to Boone next year - will fly into Charlotte to visit a friend and Cajun Alum then the game. Pretty excited about it!

Our AD's quote on the Georgia Southern issue today

I appreciate and understand what Georgia Southern is trying to do, However, if the NCAA approves their appeal, there will be a lot of unhappy programs in the Sun Belt. If you don't enforce a rule, what's the point in having a rule?

He also said that if we don't make a bowl, it will be because we lost 2 of our last 4 when we needed to win out.

Props to App for dominating those pre WWII games just before our program shut down for 40 years.

No we aren't. There is a reason when asked to comment on GS's appeal that Commissioner Benson refused comment. He realizes if by some miracle it is approved it will knock another Belt program out of a bowl.

I hope this is resolved tomorrow and we move on.

I may be in the minority of Ga. Southern fans at this point but we knew going into this year we could not go bowling and we should accept it.
