I wanted to deviate from the who in our conference is bowling and who is not thread and concentrate on the possible opponents for our 3 bowl bid games. Who do we see playing? Who will be the toughest? and What will our record be Sun Belt vs. the others?

So far I've seen these programs mentioned:
Northern Illinois
Bowling Green
Central Michigan
Houston
Fresno State
Toledo
Washington
Stanford

Northern Illinois is 10-2 and the favorite to win the MAC Title. They would be favored to beat any SBC Opponent. Cal would be favored as a Pac 12 school

The rest would depend on the matchup.

California is 5-7. I doubt they are bowling.

I've only seen Houston mentioned for the Armed Forces Bowl, which is not a Sun Belt bowl.

Only way we (the Sun Belt) plays them is if we get an at-large bid, and that's a whole other can of worms.

Having said that, I forbid any Sun Belt school to lose to UH. If such an event happens, well....

lots of reports of Washington being invited to armed forces bowl depending on how the pac 12 title game plays out.

Just saw the Cactus Bowl spot as a possible bowl invitation to play Washington or Stanford. In conference Washington was 4-5 and Stanford 5-4. Those would be very tough teams to play in a bowl game.
