You could have the call of the day if they can come back from the 14 point halftime deficit.

Asheville is not a good team, but they do have the leading scorer in the country and a great shot blocker.

Winning by 3 is embarrassing.

And three referees that let them kill our bigs. Dude blocked like three shots. The rest were fouls. Oh, and we can't shoot free throws.

Thorne was pretty much hacked every time he went up but I'll take the win over the refs calls.

We lost to UTSA last year and Davidson @ home. Today's win was far from embarrassing for me.

Yep, I'll take an ugly win over an ugly loss any day.

UTEP suffers it's first loss to the Washington Huskies 68-65. UTEP led late but couldn't pull out the W. Tough loss.

Yep. You are going to have off games. Might as well win as many of them as you can.

In the past, these were games that we'd lose under Major, hopefully this is a good sign for us going forward. We were flat out abysmal on offense and won.

UTEP fans I was just looking at some upcoming games on that Root Sports channel and noticed your Colorado State and New Mexico State games are going to be on it.

Our coach should be mad, and so should our playersn for playing the way they did against UNCA. We have to play better if we are to beat Davidson.

RE: CUSA Basketball Week #3
Andrew Rowsey for UNC Asheville, the nation's leading scorer, is really impressive. Not only was he hitting 3's from all over the court (reminded me of ex Butler Bulldog Rotnei Clarke), but he could drive and finish with high arcing layups despite a size and athleticism disadvantage. Any team that isn't committed to shutting him down is susceptible to an upset. If UNCA can win the Big South, he's going to be fun to watch in the NCAA tournament. He's capable of ruining some brackets.
