Man if you really think this is why we want out...I feel sorry for you. We don't want to be associated with you...at all. I know that hurts your triple option hearts...but it's the truth. 1-AA callups are not who we wanna be conference mates with.

UTSA, ODU, and Charlotte would like to have a word with you.

So does the rest of the OLD Sunbelt.

I hope stAte Fans do not deluge the CUSA Board with pleas to consider stAte . . that is so lame . . the CUSA Fans will not decide which, if any, schools receive an invite to CUSA.

Use common sense people . . do not whore yourself out to other fans that have no say in the matter. Show some pride.

No one should go over there and when they come here tell them to pound sand. They just bring all this junk up to make themselves feel better anyhow.

Don't let Osage fool you, while he drinks his Ensure and goes to bed early the Arkla State fans want out just as bad. Cajun fans just stay up later on the boards. Their AD is like Nancy Pelosi, he makes statements in public about his commitment to the SBC and says something entirely different behind the scenes.

I would love the Cajuns to join Tx State, and astAte, and join the current CUSA west division and make a new conference, maybe revive the old SWC.

That would be ideal!

LOL!!! Your AD knows how to play the game, but his comments may well bite him in the azz if he doesn't tone it down about C-USA. Of course, his comments differ when he speaks to them directly.

RE: reminder to the SBC fans on the C-USA board
SBC schools with the best chances of replacing UAB. In order:

1) Texas State -CUSA knows that the AAC covets the San Antonio market
and that UTSA would be a likely choice if the AAC needed a
replacement member. Texas State would keep south central
Texas in the CUSA footprint.

2) UL-L -Best overall athletic program in the SBC. They're located
in CUSA's western footprint, which is a plus. They also have
the support of La Tech (if that makes any difference).

3) GA State -Their addition to CUSA would bring Georgia into the CUSA
footprint. Good MBB program is attractive to CUSA East
members.

4) USA -The loss of UAB takes CUSA out of the state of Alabama. The
addition of USA would rectify that. Not much else there.

4) Ark St -Second best overall athletic program in the SBC. Their
addition to CUSA would add Arkansas to CUSA's footprint.

5) GA Sou -Dang good football program. Not so good olympic sports.
In a year or two, they'll be a front runner.

6) App St -Just like GA Southern, good football. Not so good olympic
sports. They too, will be much stronger in two years.

How about no, these lists mean nothing. Not only do you hold zero power to come up with this, UAB still is in CUSA, but half these schools or more do not want into CUSA.

Granted the list means nothing, but don't kid yourself . . . Any school offered would be GONE in a N.Y. Minute. . . . . Including us . . . As long as C USA is deemed a move up, they'll continue to be able to "cherry pick" whom they want in the SBC

Our olympic sports suck, but we're leading the Bubas Cup and won the Commissioner's Cup 30 out of 38 times in the Socon? Got it.

This list is purely conjecture on my part. I did not mean to insinuate that I knew what I was talking about.
