It is still in the back of the Cajuns mind how we blew the SBjiffC outright title last year by dropping our last 2 games even though Broadway's arm was broken.

Broadway's arm was broken for less than one and a quarter of those two games. I really thought your backup would do a fine job against USA but didn't happen.

Yea, it was tough that Haack got thrown in the last 2 games to try to hang on to the championship. I think Haack will be a good passer. He has a strong arm and will be a good pocket passer.

Just like this year losing Jamal Robinson at receiver this year really hurt our passing game alot. He was Broadway's go to receiver. This year we really missed him in the red zone because Broadway could throw the fade in the vicinity of Robinson and he would come down with it. This year we settled for field goals more than the previous 3 yrs combined when in the red zone.

We would have definitely been a different team this year without that loss. Just think how good the running game would have been if the opposing teams defense had to worry about the pass.game, but injuries are part of the game.

I haven't seen excuses or finger pointing for our losses at least on this board. Every game we lost this year we deserved to lose because we played bad and the other team played better.

This year we are having trouble scoring TD's in the red zone and have to settle for FG's. That could be because of the loss of Jamal Robinson, who knows? I don't know of one game we lost that we didn't deserve to lose.

If we don't come out with more emotion than we have been, we will lose again to Troy which will be a hard pill to swallow.

Poor QB play has been the direct cause of 3 of our 4 losses. Boise St. just kicked our ass. Ole Miss TB had 4 ints that resulted in 28 points for Ole Miss. He has been a terrible pocket passer since breaking his wrist. If any team contains our running game they will likely win. We cannot beat any team with the passing game.

That's not an excuse but a fact. It is not always the defense that causes poor QB play, sometimes it is. An excuse would be we lost because our QB had a toothache. I'm sure some have to use excuses to make themselves feel better.

When I lived in Dallas, when Dallas lost this one game, all you would hear on the radio was well the Cowboys lost because Danny White had a toothache. They would drive me crazy!

That was the one game that I thought we could lose because App wanted to prove that they belonged in the SBC. What better way to prove it than beat both of there defending champs.

Since we were undefeated in conference when we played them this year, I knew they would come into Cajun Field fired up especially after beating Ark St. So it wasn't a big surprise or shock that we lost especially when we play with no emotion.

I never think any game in the SBC is a gimme game. Some games you might have 4 turnovers and lose to a team that you should have beat. Then you have injuries. The main thing to me since most teams are pretty much evenly matched that if you come out flat and play with no emotion, your chances for losing are big.

It wouldn't surprise me if we blew it against Troy too. I don't know what is wrong with the Cajun team this year.

The loss of Jamal Robinson was a huge loss to our passing game since he was Broadway's go to guy and would catch about anything thrown in the vicinity of him and he was a leader that played with alot of enthusiasm which we needed.

You can research my post, I've been bashing Broadway all season. He has been slightly better than average in our wins and down right awful in our losses.

You can research my post, I've been bashing Broadway all season. He has been slightly better than average in our wins and down right awful in our losses.

Yea, it drives me crazy when people say that we talk like we are king of the mountain. I think we are straining to keep from drowning. Broadway was better the previous years before he broke his arm at the end of last season. He was MVP in the NO Bowl. This year he is struggling to throw the ball. He pushes the ball instead of throwing it. No one could have predicted that.

He was chosen as the SBC player of the year Before the season. It wasn't the fans that chose him, so coaches and such was expecting alot from Broadway this year because of his previous years performances.

The team comes out with no emotion, like they would rather be doing something else than play football for some games. I know it's not true because they bust their butts at practice. We are missing leadership. Last year we had Huval at center being a leader on the offense and we had Justin Anderson leading the defense.

Its not a big shock when we lose. We aren't that good. It's a good thing the rest of the conference isn't that good either. Y'all and App St transitioned into the conference in the right year, when the conference is down. It made the transtion process not so bad which is evident and It's good to know that we added two good quality programs that could help strengthen the conference in football.

I could see The Cajuns overlooking this game and getting beat. On Paper, they should win big, but Troy always seems to play them well. and this is Blakeney's final game.

In fact, Troy will probably win by 2 TD's, and then the Cajuns turn around and blow away a good team in the New Orleans Bowl...tis the Cajun way.
