RE: Miss State will be left out
Your pitiful attempts to mischaracterize in ad hom fashion is just proof how angry you are that your "facts" are worthless. The Committee rankings do not reflect them. The whole argument about Big Ten ooc is pathetic because obviously it doesn't matter. The rankings say that. That is why my opinion is in line with the Committee and yours is not. Baylor doesn't have a bad ooc loss and yet....

That is why Ohio State being moved over Baylor IS relevant. Your attempt to deny that does not make it wrong. That just means you have a child-like mentality of denying the obvious when it doesn't fall in line with your opinion.

Have a great day, I know I will. 07-coffee3

RE: Miss State will be left out
I think this is setting up nicely for Baylor to be team #4. Right now the committee doesn't seem to think that OSU has done enough to move past TCU. Almost every talking head has said recently that if Baylor and TCU win out then the committee will move Baylor ahead of TCU, which would put them ahead of OSU. The committee has also said that conference championships will play into this, which will move Baylor and OSU ahead of Mississippi State. Baylor would already be ahead of OSU and therefore be the 4th team in the playoff. Game Control has also been mentioned and no team in the country has dominated their opponents and controlled their games as well as Baylor. Both Baylor and OSU would be conference champs with Baylor having the better win and the better loss than OSU.

I also think Baylor fits the Cinderella role that fans love so much in the NCAA Tournament by not being a blue blood like some of the other programs. Pair their high powered offense vs. the Bama defense and ESPN will have story lines for weeks with Saban and Briles. If people think the decisions are based on ratings than the sound bites of the SEC and Big 12 coaches over the summer regrading the game speed will help stir up the controversy that should help offset the smaller fan base of Baylor compared to the traditional powers. It also would conveniently allow the Sugar Bowl to have representatives from the two conferences that it has an agreement with already. I think this is why ESPN continues to have Bama vs. Baylor in their Bowl Predictions.

You keep harping like a wounded duck about OSU jumping Baylor. My arguments are specific to TCU and MSS, they imply nothing about OSU vs Baylor, so the fact that the committee jumped OSU over Baylor doesn't refute them at all.

Want proof that there is no clear linkage between OSU/Baylor and OSU vs TCU or MSS? It's staring you in the face: Obviously, the committee views OSU jumping Baylor as one thing but jumping TCU or MSS entirely something else, otherwise the committee would have already jumped OSU over TCU and MSS!

Bottom line: As of now, the committee's actual actions are on my side, not yours. Deal with it, little girl. 07-coffee3

You are definitely retarded.

Every argument that you made about those schools being superior to Ohio State could also be made for Baylor vs Ohio State. That is why Ohio State being able to pass up Baylor means that it could pass up the other two in the future.

I know you don't like me being able to prove you wrong with just one response this whole time but it happens, get over it. The fact that you cant just goes to show you are quite the little girl yourself.

TCU plays Texas and Iowa State going forward. Ohio State plays Michigan it is very likely they play Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship game.

Ohio State actually has the stronger schedule going forward. So yes, Ohio State has that going for them over TCU.

If Baylor was as strong as you say in the eyes of the Committee, the committee wouldn't have them behind TCU nor would they have had Ohio State pass them up.

If "every argument" that I made for TCU and MSS being superior to OSU can also be made for Baylor over OSU, than why hasn't the committee made it? Why has the committee jumped OSU over Baylor, but not TCU and MSS?

Obviously, the committee differentiates between them. They think OSU is superior to Baylor but inferior to TCU and MSS. Just look at the rankings you dimwit.

So much for "proving me wrong" with one response. For someone who claims that their arguments are the ones most firmly rooted in the behavior of the committee, you sure do ignore what the committee is actually doing. 03-lmfao

And nobody has said that the committee absolutely will not jump OSU over TCU and MSS in the future.

You on the other hand have claimed that it is inevitable.

That is really stupid, since none of us know for sure what the committee will do. For reasons already given, I happen to think that when the dust settles, the committee will recognize that MSS and TCU have better overall resumes than OSU. But we shall see. 07-coffee3

The only case that MSU has for the SEC's second spot in the CFP is this:

MSU whoops Ole Miss (something like 45-15).
OSU loses either to UM or Wisconsin/Minnesota.
TCU and Baylor both lose 1 game.

I'm not sure why you say that. If both MSU and OSU win out, MSU will clearly have the better resume. They will have played at least as tough a schedule and will have the much better loss. I mean, that VT loss is a real stinker.

It won't be close, really. If OSU does jump them, it won't be deserved, it will be pure politics.

I know, the committee has said they will. But the question is "how much will they matter"?

In this case, if OSU wins the B1G it shouldn't count for much. The B1G is, by almost all measures, the 4th or 5th best P5 conference this year. So winning that conference shouldn't mean much nationally. It just means you were the best of a pretty bad lot of 13 B1G teams.

It's not to MSS's detriment or OSU's credit that MSS just happens to be in the same division of the same conference as the #1 team. So OSU should get little or no bounce from winning the B1G.

We'll see, though. 07-coffee3

07-coffee3

Nah, I never said inevitable. That would be a false statement, as you say. What I am saying is that it is possible. I don't make absolute statements like that. The fact that Ohio State passed up Baylor in the way that they did makes it very possible that Ohio State could pass up MSU in the same manner in a couple of weeks. That doesn't mean I am saying that they absolutely will.

The comparison of Ohio State and TCU's future match ups is about Ohio State's two game line up actually being better than TCU's. That means it is POSSIBLE for them to pass up TCU as well. I don't see how that is debatable. If this whole time you have been debating against someone saying it is inevitable then you havnt been debating me.

That is me pointing out how previous situations created by the Committee prove that they could do the same thing in the near future. That doesn't mean they have to. Yes, TCU and MSU are ahead right now so trying to prove how they could be there when it all settles is rather silly. I don't know why you were trying so hard. I was just having a little fun trying to show how something that was so unthinkable early in the season could end up happening.

Your point about Ohio State getting in due to politics is true but I wouldn't go so far as to say it is only about politics. I mean, we already know that one team in the top 4 is better than MSU. MSU already lost to Alabama. The Committee will be thinking about that Alabama/LSU stinker, you can be sure of that.

Anyways, Happy Thanksgiving.

I just heard yet another ESPN talking head say that they also agreed that If Ohio State wins against Wisconsin then they should pass up MSU. The point is that this is ALL opinion by all of us. Your attempt to attack me and my opinion is hilarious because you try to act as if it is "pea brained" but by doing so you are attacking A LOT of people, not just me. That concept seems to be lost on you in "pea brained" fashion.

Having a conversations with you is at times like talking to a child. You don't have conversations, you simply talk AT other people. So go ahead and talk to yourself. I have kept to the same talking points and every time you ignore them or come up with some bull**** response that doesn't refute what I say Yet you try to say it did. It doesn't and hasn't one single time in any of your responses.

You are a waste of time. We shall see what happens, but the tidal wave of opinion is mounting AGAINST you, not for you. 07-coffee3

As you said, me calling you chicken **** is not an insult, it is fact. At least the Baylor fan can admit that his problem is with the Committee. You are trying to attempt to say your opinion is in line with the Committee. That statement is a joke and it is obvious that you don't know what you are talking about because you ignore obvious statements being made by the Committee with their choices.

You never have any real points, you just argue for the sake of it...

You are always right, everyone else is always wrong! Must be nice being so deluded

Well put

It says a lot about how simple of a mind you must have for you to think what he wrote was "well put". Never mind the fact that my back and forth was with someone whom thinks He is always right and everyone else is always wrong but....he is an SEC fan from Louisiana.

You Southerners are so hilarious. Fight on!

Why must you always insult someone based on their geographic location?

You rarely meet anyone nowadays that is born in one place and lives there their whole life.

Don't take me so seriously. By the way, I lived in Lafayette, Louisiana for a short stint.
